When the US economy dropped, many Overseas Filipino Workers have suffered. Companies has to make a crucial decision how to keep afloat amidst the big crisis and so one of the solutions is to reduce their manpower. Many Filipino Overseas Workers got laid off and went home to our country bringing only hope that soon they can find another good paying job or that they could start a small business. The Philippine government is offering loan assistance for the OFW’s who wanted to start a business and this is a great help for both parties. Reading through the Entrepreneur magazines that I and my sister have acquired for the past years, I come to realize that there are many opportunities for business minded people here in the Philippines.
