I am very happy that she is earning money now. She is a front desk clerk at Legaspi Suites. Although her moving out from Ate’s apartment made me worry at first, I am not that worried anymore after we visited her in her new place. Her housemates are her old college friends back in our hometown and I find them polite. You will really know if someone is raised in the province. I wish their apartment is in a safer area though. The place is like a squatters area where there is no yard. Houses are built very very very close (like there is no thing you can call a yard) and if there is fire, it will be in just a few moments that everything will be in fire. So I was always telling Cheche to be careful when they are using electricity and when there is fire, she should run to the river. I am serious. The river is just in front of their apartment so all she need to do is swim to the other bank. I can’t imagine living in that area…..I won’t be able to sleep at night and I will surely find out insurance quotes that we can afford just in case.

Here are some photos taken last February 9, 2010, the day after he moved out. It was the day we bought my new/old laptop and we met her at the mall for an afternoon snack. She missed the kids especially the little guy and she asked me to take their photo. Eman was not in the mood to get his pictures taken…but lookie, I just love these shots.

Yes, it’s only Ella who can do that. She is a big help when Eman was in the hospital.

Well, my little sister is such a brat and as much as I wanted her to learn from her mistakes, I stillcan’t resist her because no matter how brat she is…..she is still our sister and Mamang’s baby.I can’t really blame her because when she was little she was spoiled rotten by Daddy, Mamang and Ate. So everytime I feel like loosing patience to her, I just think of Mamang and how she loves that little brat. I think she has come to realization that being independent is not at all easy. I and Ate are always telling her to move here in the house or go back to Ate’s apartment. She said she will if she will run out of money.

I am still not feeling well and it has gotten worst. I feel I will be coming down with flu which is something that I really hate. Eman has also been whiny since yesterday due to his allergic rhinitis. I googled some more informations about it and found that it is also called “hay fever”. I found it so funny how one site explained that although the patient doesn’t have fever and it is not caused by hay, it is called “hay fever”. Poor Eman, he just wanted to be held. I hope he will be better tomorrow because we are missing his smiles that makes our day.

I went to Ate Lourdes this morning to borrow baking pans and mixer that I will be using in my steamed chocolate moist cake for Ella’s birthday and when I came home, Donald has just put him to sleep. He was very whiny most of the time and I hope we could see a pedia anytime soon for prescription. It is difficult for him to breathe yet he hates getting his nose suctioned. You should him hear breathe through his mouth, he sounds like a snoring pig.

On the other note, Cecilia – the woman that I was working with that speaks Spanish has sent me some emails again that even it is written in English, it is something that I could hardly comprehend. This caused me to just guess what she was trying to say and this morning my boss sent me an email letting me know that ALL my assignment is wrong. I was hesistant to tell him that I can’t understant Cecilia’s instruction but surprisingly I did say it in the kindest way. Later tonight, Cecilia gave me assignments again and after working on the first few ones, I sent her the link so she can check if I did it right. Again I did bad with it and so I gathered courage to tell her my problem. I apologized for giving her a headache for all the wrong outputs and said I am afraid she might be angry at me for being so dumb. Here is what she replied:

I felt bad for telling her the truth but I really need to do it. I just don’t know why my boss gave her to me as a partner in this project but I appreciate her for being so patient and kind in dealing with me. I just learned she’s from Uruguay and speaks Spanish like our boss who is from Spain. I told her I love to learn their language because I find it so classy. Spanish was taught in schools here in the Philippines during my mother’s time and she almost failed. Might be because it is really difficult. Anyway, I told her that she should not feel bad if she’s not so good in English because she is excellent in Spanish.
