Weather is constantly changing here. We had sun early in the day and had a heavy down pour at night while we were at Manang Inday’s cousin’s place for dinner the other Sunday. They say when it rain, it pours and so that is what really happened. It’s getting late and there’s no power so we really have to go home. Here’s the little man wearing his rain coat out of plastic bag.

Ate Rose, the one who came from the US whom I talked about my previous post, asked me how am I taking care for my kids that they are both ‘big’ babies with oh so chunky legs. There’s nothing in particular. It’s not in the formula since Ella was bottle fed while Eman is breastfeed. I think it’s all in the genes because I am a big baby and so was Donald. So if you got this heavy baby, packing him around will make you loose weight the way a diet pill works.
Waaaah! It’s so hot in here!!!!!
It’s almost midnight and all windows are open but I feel very very hot. The kids are asleep peacefully but Eman is surely sweating profusely on the head. We are actually on much higher ground and we should have cold wind blowing now but the weather forecast could have been wrong when they say we will have rain today. You see we only have one fan here. We used to have two but we don’t want to mess with the walls here because we are just renting so we decided to gave it away when we moved.
I hope it will rain. I am not really a person who complain about being hot…..I am pretty contented with just a little fan that blows humid air but lately I can’t help it anymore. For the sake of the kids Donald was talking about getting an AC for the room so they could sleep comfortably especially during daytime because we don’t know what to do anymore. If we keep the windows open, bugs and other insects will be coming in and Eman will get more of these bites and rashes. If we keep it closed……he will float from his own sweat!
But anyway, the AC could come last. We need to settle other loans first before thinking about that so for now I am crossing my fingers weather will be nicer tomorrow, the next day, the day following the next….and so on.

I am sorry I am not in my blogging mood tonight. I feel really tired from doing nothing but trying to complete the lacking hours of sleep last night. Donald and Ella have slept early at 2am
while I could not convince my eyes to shut down until almost half past three. I tried every sleeping position that a woman with big bulge could do but I ended up taking my laptop to bed to drain the battery (not of the laptop but of me).

I can’t get enough sleep with my growing belly and each day it seems to grow more.
I kept changing my pillow (we have different sizes and shapes
) and my position but it does little help. Still it was raining until we went to bed last night but I predicted there would be a clear sky today and it sure was. Not as clear as I wanted but since it was raining for a week now, I didn’t expect much. Just a fine, little drizzle would be alright for me to do the laundry and that is what we had.

After a sumptuous dinner with BIL’s family (his whole family i.e. Dad, Ma, brother and sisters and their families) last December 27, we spent an hour (I guess) outside Victoria Plaza for some photo op at the huge tree. After some snaps, we broke in different groups (three I guess) just chatting. Here’s what Donald, Ella, Cheche and I can do to kill the time. Read more… »

Still God isn’t done washing the earth and by now, everywhere I look is pretty soaked. I was planning to send Cheche’s tuition fee through xoom but changed my mind at the very last minute. The fee is for me unreasonable, and since she has our Daddy’s atm card, why not just send it directly there. I asked Donald if he has any plans on going to the market today and he said none but he went anyway after I told him that sending the money through xoom will cost much.
We spent the whole day just inside the house which is not new at all since we rarely step out of the house. If only the bathroom inside was done, we won’t be going out at all except for Donald and Ella going to school or market. There were even days when the gate was left locked for the whole day. Tomorrow, Ella’s class will resume and I will go out with them because it’s my pre-natal check-up and anti-tetanus shot. I hope the weather won’t be too nasty tomorrow as I do really hate getting out in such a bad weather. Read more… »

I am not well since yesterday but I am in the mood to blog because I got many tasks which means more moolah.
I am having asthma attacks and I honestly don’t know what causes this. Donald was asking me what I have eaten but I don’t think it’s the food. Read more… »

The weatherman said there would be a lot of rain tomorrow which made me think if we should start building an ark now because the rain seemed to last forever. I was still up at half past one in the morning and decided to check emails when the power went off and if I have counted it accurately, we had 15 power interruptions until late this afternoon. Thank goodness it’s freezing cold in here because I’d be dead by morning endless hours of fanning Ella. Read more… »

As me and my sister Crislyn looks forward for the day that our younger sister Cheche will finally graduate from college this March, Ella is now getting impatient to graduate from Kindergarten too. She said she’s tired of getting up and taking a bath so early but I told her that when she’s in 1st grade in June, she needs to get up and go to school earlier. Read more… »
