So our little guy, who is 10 months and 16 days old today, can now clap his hands and he does it with great pride. The picture can tell. I realized that teaching my baby should be in a fun fun fun way and doing it just a couple of times a day is just perfect. So after showing how I do it for four days, he did it all by himself the other day!!!! Isn’t that wonderful? Sometimes he gets confused what he was asked to do, whether to clap or close and open his tiny hands. Can’t blame him because the two goes with a song that has the same tune. LOL So each time he closes and opens his tiny hands when I ask him to clap, I will hold his hands and clap it for him. He is really making us proud.

While I was trying to finish some orders last Sunday afternoon, Eman was very fussy and everything I do to comfort him didn’t seem to work. Donald took him and Ella for a joy ride around the neighborhood and he liked it of course. Moments later, they came back to tell me there is a place that I must see and they sounded so excited. I was convinced that it is a must see so I changed clothes and went with them. Donald asked me to drive the motorcycle so I can enjoy more. If you have been in this part of Davao, you know that there are parts that are steep and elevated so the whole time I was driving my eyes are pinned on the road. Can someone tell me how can I appreciate the place like what Donald told me?
When I say I mean it, I really don’t….

Last night I said I am not going home yet, that I am not dragging my feet back home and that I really mean it. Forget it. After debating with myself, I gave in and packed our stuffs. Although I really wanted to stay for the weekend, I decided it is best to go home since I am not in the mood to commute. We were ready at 4am, waiting for a text message from Ate Gina. Donald changed Ella’s clothes while she’s sleeping while I do the final packing of stuffs. I already put everything in one corner and waited. After a few moments, Donald went to get a taxi and Cheche (still half-awake) ushered us out of the gate. We didn’t bother waking my sister Crislyn and BIL because like us, they were still up until past midnight because the neighbors at the side are so loud. They were drinking and talking about nonsense stuffs loudly that I wanted to throw a stone over their roof. After their “noise barrage” and before we could finally go to sleep, a neighbor at the back thought that the best time to chop woods is at 2am and so that is what he did.
Such crazy neighbors! Read more… »
I am back to my “ukay-ukay” shopping mode again after having a long leave due to the lack of funds.
Money was very tight the past weeks. Just enough for food and bills, so now that I got my earnings from blogging, I rewarded myself to pick a few. I had three maternity tops and one that I could use after the baby decides to make an appearance. I wasn’t able to take some pics because I was too excited to wear them. They’re still drying outside so I will just show you my other loots.
It’s Saturday once again and where else could we be found but in the market. We live lightyears away from malls and though it is kinda boring out here, I like here more because we can save a lot of money from unnecessary purchases and spendings. In the morning, I went to the market while Donald and Ella are still in bed in hopes that I could find maternity tops in the ukay-ukay. Read more… »
