Caroleen’s Treasures

For more than a week now we have plenty of rain around here and since it would be sunny after the rain or the other way around, people are getting sick. Poor Teddy Bear, he has come down with flu and Ella won’t bring her to the doctor….she said to the other bear (Teddy’s brother), “Alagaan natin siya. Huwag na tayong pumunta sa doctor kasi sayang lang ang pera. Pagpahingahin na lang natin siya dito sa bahay….” (Let’s take care of him. We won’t be going to the doctor because we will just be wasting our money. We will just let him rest here at home.) I do not know where does she got that idea of wasting money when going to the doctor because I can’t remember that we have said that to her. Maybe too much watching tv? But I can’t say she has poor mothering ability by that statement because you could laugh at how she takes care of Teddy. She wraps him with blankets at night and she puts on bonnet, sweater and pyjamas so he won’t get cold. How I wish Teddy will get well soon because I am hearing her drama for days now.
