I do not know how long have I slept last night but boy was I glad that I have at least gone to sleep even when I kept on waking up. Ella have slept early last night and at almost 10, she woke up to eat dinner. Since she has already slept, it was hard for her to get back to sleep when Donald and I called it lights off at midnight. I was hoping I could sleep soundly through the night but Ella keeps on tossing in bed. That wakes me up each time I doze off. After the lights are off, I heard her whisper her prayer that she could wake up early and that her hands could write faster. I don’t know why I feel so tired when all I did all day was sleep, eat and sit infront of the pc. I can’t seem to wait to move. Maybe because we already had a plan on moving that made me and Donald both impatient of being like under house arrest. We had nowhere to go except the market (glad we discovered the nearby resort last Sunday). It was actually Donald who was always bugging me on why do I love being here when he wanted to live in my hometown. So now he won. He finally convinced me that Kabacan is where we belong. Hello! I am blogging from Davao and I am working on my own computer. Yey! 
I have succesfully sweet talked Donald to bring it here at my BIL’s place for our long vacation so I could still blog. Good that he willingly packed the cpu, monitor (good thing that mine is lcd), keyboard and everything else except the scanner/printer. 
It’s still dark when I get out of bed this morning and started the computer in hopes that I could grab some opps. I think my screen froze because it’s been the same opps count since last night. I was planning to leave before 8am but Donald and Ella were still asleep until almost 7am. Since it’s drizzling, I let them snuggle in bed longer while I read and replied to some emails. Read more… »
Whenever Donald gets his hands on the task that has to be done without any fuss, I see him as someone sent from heaven with wings in white robe. 
I just told him this afternoon that we needed to clean and get rid of the trash that accumulated in there for 5 months and moments later, unexpectedly he started getting his hands on it. He could be a procastinator too like me and sometimes it ticks me off when I needed to remind him over and over again. And YUMMIER too …I am talking about our Caramel Popcorn not the one you are thinking about. This afternoon I made another batch of Caramel Popcorn using the Jolly Time Popcorn that was sent by Mama Ingrid. I could say it is so much better because it pops great! No waste! Unlike the local popcorn that Donald bought in the grocery store here. Many kernels did not pop at all. I also did some adjustments again of making the caramel and it turned out better!!!! It is crunchier and the caramel is not grainy as the first batch. I still have to see the result if it was baked. Donald like it more and I do too. I think I will send some to Ella at school tomorrow so the whole class could help us tell if this is just perfect and if we could start selling. Read more… »
Like last month, our meal fellowship went very well. I’ve been looking forward to this since I have noticed a great improvement on the members participation. When we arrived here last May, there was no such activity such as this and we figure out to start an activity wherein members could spend time getting to know each other more and so the meal fellowship was initiated.
Our popcorn was a hit at Ella’s class! Tehee!!!! I packed popcorn in a small microwavable container and when she called there’s free popcorn, everyone ran to her and she wasn’t able to eat. So tonight she asked me if she could bring popcorn again tomorrow. When I gave her the permission, she climbed up the chair and filled the biggest container she found in the cabinet. I am not in my best mood today because I have not yet taken a bath and it’s already 6pm.
