holy sCRAP

Looks like I am hooked on taking photos of Ella’s baby pictures! Crazy huh? Well, if most of you are printing the photos you have taken with your digital cameras, I am doing otherwise. I want all Ella’s pictures be uploaded in the computer for easy blogging and digiscrapping purposes. I discovered that it’s a lot easier to do it this way than to use the scanner. (Later you will know why). The only problem is I was so dumb to have cut the photos around the edges. I do have that kind of disorder…of cutting edges and turning a photo into hearts, circles and nameless shapes. Well I learned that I have this disorder (Julie, name that disorder….I know you have this too. *lol*) when I was still a kid back when I had cut every picture and turned my magnetic album into a scrapbook. I had no idea about the word “CROP” in photo enhancement and it’s just like an innate thing to get a pair of scissors and shape my pictures. I was in 6th grade then and I never heard anything from my mother which left me wondering if she’s proud of me or what.

Online storage

We are in my sister Crislyn’s place for over a month now and I am very anxious to go back to Trento so we could start packing things. Yes, we are moving AGAIN. I hope we could find a place to rent here so we could move. One thing that bothers me while we are here is loosing all our stuffs through fire. I am most worried about the pictures of the kids. Like Julie, I wanted to be sure that everything has a back up because you cannot bring back the time. I hope Donald could get us an online storage.

Hey! Gotta new look!

Got a new theme!!!!! I don’t have any plan on changing my old one yet but while tweaking on this which I dug from my collection of themes, Donald said it looks better than my girly theme. So I did some editing with the font style and size and here it is. Looks fresher to me. :-)

Anyway, there is so much going on around here that I could not even write a short post. Bad. :-( But since it is still half past 9 in the evening and the kids are already in bed, might as well do some little blogging.

(Eman decided to disturb me. He’s here eating while I blog with one hand) It’s been a week since he made up his mind not to use his bottles and I somehow adjusted to it pretty well. Been doing everything in fast mode. (Okay he’s done with his midnight snack, back in blogging with two hands) ;-)

day 21

It was like yesterday when I first met this little guy and each day he brings joy to the whole family. It’s really different to have a baby at home (add to it is a sweet big sister who is very protective of her little bro). He turned 21 days old today and here’s some of his weekly photos that I would like to share.

Teaser

I am very happy that the Korean TeleSerye Three Dads and One Mom will end soon. Not that I don’t like it but because it is aired at 10:30pm and my five-year-old is looking forward to it each night. I could not debate her about going to bed early and skipping the show because Donald is so addicted to it too. So each night, they snuggle together infront of the tube while I try to be productive infront of the pc. Lately I’ve been too engrossed uploading photos in my friendster account. Read the rest of this entry »

Memories of Mamang Eling and Ella

I am doing this very quick because they called for back up for OHJ early. Today I had my very first breakfast since we moved here. Ella played almost whole day with a short nap. When I woke up, she was not in bed anymore and was busily drawing in her desk.

Ella is missing Mamang Eling more and more each day and she always talks about the things they did together and she remembers every details. She asked me to post some of their photos together so my friends who has “Caroleen’s PRESSURES” can see it. Though I told her it is not pressures but TREASURES…she just grins and continue on her pressures. ;))

There are pictures of them that I haven’t scanned yet and some are still negatives. Ella was turning three when Mamang died, only 9 days before her 3rd birthday. Hope you enjoy the photos of my Mamang Eling and her little Ella.

PHOTOS

As promised, I will post photos of Ella’s study table and uniform. I also forgot to tell you that I made her a shoe pocket from my box of rags.

We are crossing our fingers that she will really study

Her new shoe pocket, hope this is the answer on my headache from scattered shoes.

I even personalized it by printing her name.

I am so tired and I wanted to sleep. We have just arrived from Tagum, 2 hours away from here….and while we stopped by at one of the bus terminals, we finally got a chance to take a photo of the Filipino Skylab.

A motorcycle that can ferry 12 passengers.

In this case, the driver carries 7 sacks of bananas and two passengers. I cannot imagine myself riding in that vehicle, I might turn very pale in fright and call all the saints in heaven. LOL But Ella will really be over the moon when she’ll will have a ride in this because it gives her a lot of air! She told us we will get off the bus and just ride there because the bus we are in has no auto air conditioning. She cannot stand without it or some fresh..cool air.
