We went downtown because my father will be leaving tonight. He will be going home to his little farm in Pagadian City. We are home now and I think he has boarded the bus already.

Poor Teddy suffered a cut on the forehead. I noticed it last week but didn’t mind it until I saw Ella wrapping him in blankie and carrying him around. Does he look so sad and hurt? Well, Ella just loves band aids and made a story just to make use of some of it lying around in the house. Can’t blame her because I have been there, done that too when I was her age. I do not know why it thrills me to have band-aids anywhere in my body. When we had a vacation at my father’s place in Pagadian City, I secretly took a piece from my aunt’s sari-sari store. I had no cut or bruise then and wished I had! Still I put it on my arm and felt so proud. LOL Read more… »
….we tied the knot at Uyanguren Church of Christ, Davao City. Like all couples, it was one of the most momentous event in our lives.
I was looking forward for today to be such a busy day for me. I already sorted all the baby clothes and stuffs that needs to be washed and folded to be ready in case the baby will decide for an early appearance. I wasn’t expecting nor hoping for a premature delivery, but I just want to be ready. Like my sister and BIL who are moving this weekend, Donald and I are also playing some wild idea on moving back to my hometown when Ella’s classes ends. That will be this March and we are crossing our fingers that we can make it as early as possible before I gave birth which will be on the 1st week of April. That’s just a plan, not yet final and so we are not disclosing this to Tatang and Inang or any other members of the church yet. Read more… »
I don’t know what’s with the horses that kids would really go oohhh and aahhhs when they see one and would beg, really really beg to ride it. Ella has been dying to have a ride and when I told her that I once experienced it when I was 7 when we went for a vacation at Daddy’s hometown, she’s asking me when she could go there too. When we went to my FIL’s little farm in Bukidnon almost two weeks ago, she saw a brown horse grazing beyond the farm’s fence and she was itching to go near it. If the owner was in sight, I could have asked if Ella could get a short ride just so she would stop ranting about it. Then I remember the Gap farm in Davao City. We’ve been there when Ella was turning two and I ‘ve seen they offer horse back riding to the public. Read more… »
I love thinking about our upcoming reunion at my Mother’s side in my hometown. Got to see half of the clan and spend days just eating, chatting, singing and maybe we could go swimming at the nearest resort. But there’s a big BUT because Hannah, a cousin on my father’s side, did ask me if we could attend the reunion on the 30th in Pagadian City.
Donald and I are pretty disappointed that it’s too far but the bigger issue here is money. Read more… »
