Not me but our laptop. Last Sunday we went to my sister’s apartment. It’s our new favorite place to go after the service because we can save a LOT. We usually spend our family day at the mall – eat and window shop – but we are always short of cash these past months and so we decided to bring the kids to their titas and tito. Thanks to the free lunch every Sunday!
Since I only have 3 hours of sleep, I crawled under the sheets and dozed off. Eman doesn’t want to sleep so I asked Cheche to look after him. This little guy found my big toe and bit it real hard that ended my deep slumber. Naughty little guy!
In the afternoon, Donald suggested to BIL to ride his new motorcycle to our place which is what happened. They rode the bike while me, Ate and the two kids packed inside a taxi cab. I know Donald put the laptop and the Tupperware in the front seat but I totally forgot about it. I got off the taxi with Eman on my arms, Ate followed and then Ella. I was inside the house when the driver called and opened the front door with the bag on his hand. My goodness! Until now I can’t believe that we almost lost it!!!! We can’t afford to get another one as of the moment. I was in shock that all I said was “Thank you so much Manong”. I forgot to ask his name or even gave him a small tip. but I got his plate number and body number though.
To the honest driver of Keisha Delight taxi with plate number LWR-716 and body number 2444, thank you so much! I will try to find a way to reward you the soonest time possible.
Anyway, wanting to get secured? Check wireless security systems. Got to go now. Little guy is wanting me again.

These are potted poinsettia’s for sale at SM. They are so beautiful and each time I see them on display, I feel very Christmassy.
But not the night I first saw it there this year because we were in a hurry. I just asked Ella to pose for me very quickly so I can take some pictures.

One of the things I really love being pregnant is you get all the attention and care in the whole world plus you hear no complains when you oversleep. I just missed those very unproductive days because I am very worn out today. We went downtown to get more fabric then spent a couple of hours at my sister Crislyn’s apartment. Remember the bazaar that I mentioned about? I really wanted to join as a consignee but I don’t have the funds yet. Thankies to my sister and BIL for loaning me the amount I need until I get the payment for my orders next week.
The trip back home was really one of the longest ride from their place going back here. Manong driver asked what route are we going to take and Donald suggested we take the longest one. Well the first option is heading dowtown area passing NCCC Mall. It’s the nearest but traffic is bad. Second option is Diversion Road but I am afraid of the container vans that might slip and crush us into bits and pieces. Ewww….. So we took the road less traveled (oh the book!). I was singing and talking to Donald in between songs just so I won’t fall asleep. But what could have been a 30-minute taxi ride has been nearly an hour! There was an accident involving two motorcycles in the intersection going to the place where we are right now. Just last month one died at the same spot. (oh sorry, not really but really close to it). I have read a tarp of Kawasaki Motorcyle Co. that says… “Your life might be the next you will save….wear your helmet.” Oh I know, I know my memory is failing now. I think I didn’t get it exactly how it was written. LOL Read more… »
I feel like a lurker here in my own blog. So sorry for neglecting it but hey I have a very demanding little man here, then I (and Donald) were trying not to miss a day to submit the daily target of assignments. I have been juggling my time between my online job and my online game.
I am now on level 24 in Farm Town and I can upgrade my farm lot to the biggest one with only a few xp points. If I can get that done, I will be back to blogging regularly again. Then when I was bout to write a decent post yesterday, I can’t get in my site. It was the first time that I was thankful my server was down because I had a very good reason for not blogging.
I have too many stories to tell and too many pictures to share but the camera died while I was trying to upload it on the computer. Promise to do it soon. Looking forward to writing about our latest trip to Davao last week, then the boxes from Mama Ingrid finally arrived, Cheche’s unplanned short vacation here and some more stuffs that I hope I could still remember.
.
Yesterday we brought Eman to the center for his last DPT shot and it went fine. Our little man now weighs 8.6 kls (18.96 lbs) at 3 months and 10 days old. I checked on Ella’s baby book and I found out she had the same weight as his when she was 5 months old.
We were not the first to arrive but we were the first to leave. Remember the first time we went there, we were the very first to arrive but we were not the first to be called so I learned my lesson there. It is not all about being early but it all depends on luck because the people there are not that organized and shuffling every records they had on hand.

I promised before that I’d post a photo of Ella on her new haircut (I think I promised myself and myself alone)
So here it is….her photo when she turned 5 with her long hair.

And her new hairstyle….

Well I like her new look now, at least I can send her to school with a head band and not worry about tying her hair wet.
I lost internet connection at 4am so I got some sleep before Ella went to school. I feel so sore on my back when I woke up from my naps. Yes I had several naps.
I again did some cutting of fabric for her pyjamas. Did I mention before that there was a neighbor that keeps on coming back to borrow money? She did come back thrice and she seem not to believe we don’t have money to lend.
We don’t really have some extras, only we have enough for our needs and my medication. Then there’s another neighbor who went here last night to borrow money for food, I said I have no change so I offered to lend her if we can find a change of my bill. The she refused to accept since I don’t have a change, I offered a pack of noodles and a can of corned beef but she didn’t accept it. Why would I offer to lend her and I said no to the first? Because the second one needs food, the first one just needs money to pay her debt (she loaned money to buy lotions and other beauty products and to me it is not a necessity). Then in the afternoon, a third neighbor came to borrow money to pay the truck who will deliver wood for their furniture shop. So this one is a need to (to my judgment) so I loaned her the amount since we have ordered a desk for Ella. If she can’t pay it, I can deduct it on the amount of the desk.
I am honestly stressed with all the rantings of my neighbors. Each day I can hear each one of them complain having no food. As much as we can, we try to help. But now I need some medication, all we hope is for more opportunities to come so we can still hand the kids some biscuits when they come here with grumbling tummies.
This makes Ella understand how hard life is….so last night while I was busy cutting fabric, she she was busy counting something on the floor. Then I heard her complain some are missing. I looked at her and there on the floor were nails in different sizes and with different thickness of rust in it. She said she will sell it so we can have money. She told us once before but now she seems to be serious. I said she don’t need to make money herself because Mommy and Daddy are the ones who does it. But she insists, saying she want to help so she can buy slippers for the kids here.
Oh well, I can’t argue with her at this point.
Tonight we went to Tatang and Inang’s place. Ella wanted to ride her bike because we couldn’t fit in the motorcycle. Me, Donald, Ella and Cheche (the one who fetched us). We said NO so she was forced to ride with us. When we were half on our way, the motorcycle died. In the middle of woods, without a single light and a house near. So Ella was grumbling more saying if she only rode her bike, we can get there on time
She was saying…”because I said so….” and “Mauna na lang ako sa inyo Daddy…” (I will go ahead of you Daddy…) and started to walk. Gladly Cheche had a celphone so she sent a message that we are stuck there, anotehr motorcycle came to get Ella and Cheche while I stayed with Donald and Uncle Jun who fixed the sparkplug. It was an old one and needs overhaul or replacement.
After a few minutes, they finally made it run. So we had a nice dinner and chat with Tatang, Inang and half of their family (I say half because not all children and grankids were there) We took some snaps and was thinking it must be better if Tatang and Inang wore renaissance clothing for more drama and effects.
