I have so much to blog about that I didn’t know where to start. There are so many good things happened that I don’t know if I am just dreaming. First, orders kept coming in the way I didn’t expect but really really wanted. After delivering the orders last Sunday, I was praying nobody will call me about wanting cloth diapers or baby slings because laundry piled up in the other room and if you’ve been following my blog…you know I don’t want to do it one batch at a time. So God heard it and he really didn’t send anyone my way for orders. Someone did asked for a quote for diapers and a sling while on our way home that night and I was happy she still need a little time since she can’t access my multiply site for the fabric and sizing. So yesterday I spent more than 12 hours doing the laundry. Imagine that! ![]()

It’s past 1am now and I am still up. Though I am really sleepy and would want to hit the bed, I still have some tasks to do. Yesterday was such a long day for us here. I was so tired but at least we are very productive today. Not in the virtual world but in real life. Hahahahaha! Had less time farming because we did the laundry and sanded Eman’s crib afterwards. Well the most work goes to Donald (applause everyone!) since I have to answer Eman’s call from time to time. The crib was planned a couple of months ago. When Donald saw the neighbor making a crib, he asked me to look at it and right there and then we ordered a bigger one for our growing piglet. It is 28″x52″ size mahogany crib for only P1,000.00. It is a lot cheaper than a store bought one but we will be the one to sand and gloss it. We thought it was an easy and very fun job but nah we were wrong! We still have a lot of sweat to shed before Eman could finally enjoy his new haven but at least we saved a LOT.
Today’s been good. I was hoping last night that I will feel better today because there are things that I planned to accomplish before we get back to Davao which will be this Saturday. I kept on ranting to Donald yesterday about the laundry that I wanted to be done, the receiving blankets that I have yet to sew, Ella’s toys that needed to be sorted and the two rooms in the house that needs to be decluttered. He told me it can wait but I can’t leave the house again without these done. Since I have been sick since Monday until yesterday, I only have today until Friday. Read more… »
We accomplished a quite huge task yesterday….that is doing the laundry.
I say it’s huge because if you check my previous posts, the last time we did the laundry was last January 16.
Blame it to our crazy weather. Just imagine 10 full loads of laundry in the washer not to mention the whites which I hand washed for four hours.
We spent almost a week this month in Davao and I did the laundry there but it didn’t help lessen the pile after pile of dirty clothes. It was yesterday that I heard Donald regret about not getting the automatic machine. He promised that if he did earn from blogging, he would get me one. Maybe here we really need it since Mr. Sun always plays hide and seek with us but if we move back in my hometown where the weather is nicer, we could be fine with our washer. So today, most of the clothes are already dry after we gave ourselves some exercise of running outside to gather them when it drizzles and putting them back on the lines when the sun shows up.
Ella’s doing better and better during her wake up calls. She would not complain anymore about being sleepy and she’s really enjoying the three days in a week that they will spend the entire day at school. I asked her to pose for me in the camera before heading out the door. Read more… »
I will be making this short as I need to start on a new project that I’ve been itching to do. I will be posting more details about it when I am done so I could show some photos.
Last night was the Lunar eclipse and minutes after midnight, Ella and I went out but we couldn’t see anything but a very bright sky. It was pretty much cloudy so we went back in afraid to see “someone” flying over us.
How I wish Ella have witnessed it. Read more… »
I can’t get enough sleep with my growing belly and each day it seems to grow more.
I kept changing my pillow (we have different sizes and shapes ) and my position but it does little help. Still it was raining until we went to bed last night but I predicted there would be a clear sky today and it sure was. Not as clear as I wanted but since it was raining for a week now, I didn’t expect much. Just a fine, little drizzle would be alright for me to do the laundry and that is what we had.
Whenever Donald gets his hands on the task that has to be done without any fuss, I see him as someone sent from heaven with wings in white robe.
I just told him this afternoon that we needed to clean and get rid of the trash that accumulated in there for 5 months and moments later, unexpectedly he started getting his hands on it. He could be a procastinator too like me and sometimes it ticks me off when I needed to remind him over and over again. Of course if I am not pregnant, I could have done it alone but since there’s a lot of carrying to do I needed his Super powers.

Opposite to the very boring day yesterday, we had accomplished some tasks that are both planned and unplanned. For days now I am planning to make caramel coated popcorn. Donald and I are brainstorming about what business to start in this little town that won’t require big capital, product that could sell, has longer shelf life and something that we will enjoy doing. Our day went pretty well except for a little stress in my part as a stage mother. Tomorrow and Friday will be Ella’s final examinations for the first semester and I am quite horrified what mark she would have in her report card at the end of this semester. I have given to Donald the duty of reviewing her on her lessons since I got a very short patience and as a choleric person, I want her to get right away what we are studying about. But I promise to myself I work on this one; I am trying to level myself with my 5-year-old. I called her after I made the reviewers and we studied peacefully but as minutes passed by, I began to feel I need to turn this over to Donald. Read more… »
Talk about laundry that has piled almost up to the ceiling? That is finally taken cared of and Donald and I are very proud we did it!
For a month I did not do laundry. You read it right
I was too lazy, sick, weak and busy throwing up for the whole month. I am serious, for a whole month! I am just thankful that I was leaving the first trimester now, so no more feeling so sick and like a puke.
Yesterday I started soaking the whites and Donald was surprised. I said I have now the “energy” to do it. So this morning when I woke up, I started washing the whites and the colored ones. Donald helped me and did most of the job as I could not do more than little physical exertion. Having MVP and being pregnant can make me crazy and I mean it. I was just so lucky that Donald does almost all the chores that I could not do right now. After almost 5 hours of washing, we finally hung the last piece and he told me we need to celebrate for this.
