Last Saturday, I went to SM to meet my high school friends and of course my whole family tagged along. We are inseparables ya know. :) We were at SM a couple of hours before the agreed time. We brought the laptop to Thinking Tools to get the DVD ROM checked. Then we went down to the Food Court (our favorite tambayan) and pigged out on cheese flavored french fries and choco fudge black pearls. Nom nom nom.

Since we will have  dinner together with my friends, we brought the stroller so the little guy will be comfortable just in case he naps. The whole time we were there Ella was the one pushing the stroller around. She would get mad if we will take over.

She was showing his little brother around the windows we passed by, stopping for a while to let the little guy see those mannequins in fancy clothes. Read more… »

Almost Lost

Not me but our laptop. Last Sunday we went to my sister’s apartment. It’s our new favorite place to go after the service because we can save a LOT. We usually spend our family day at the mall – eat and window shop – but we are always short of cash these past months and so we decided to bring the kids to their titas and tito. Thanks to the free lunch every Sunday! :-)

Since I only have 3 hours of sleep, I crawled under the sheets and dozed off. Eman doesn’t want to sleep so I asked Cheche to look after him. This little guy found my big toe and bit it real hard that ended my deep slumber. Naughty little guy! :-D

In the afternoon, Donald suggested to BIL to ride his new motorcycle to our place which is what happened. They rode the bike while me, Ate and the two kids packed inside a taxi cab. I know Donald put the laptop and the Tupperware in the front seat but I totally forgot about it. I got off the taxi with Eman on my arms, Ate followed and then Ella. I was inside the house when the driver called and opened the front door with the bag on his hand. My goodness! Until now I can’t believe that we almost lost it!!!! We can’t afford to get another one as of the moment. I was in shock that all I said was “Thank you so much Manong”. I forgot to ask his name or even gave him a small tip. but I got his plate number and body number though.

To the honest driver of Keisha Delight taxi with plate number LWR-716 and body number 2444, thank you so much! I will try to find a way to reward you the soonest time possible.

Anyway, wanting to get secured? Check wireless security systems. Got to go now. Little guy is wanting me again.

It’s half past 8 in the evening and the rain is pouring which will surely last until past midnight. We are halfway with the laundry when it started to drizzle followed by a heavy downpour yet it didn’t stop us from attending a dinner party at the neighbor’s house. Of course we could have not gone there but we already set our minds on that so instead of preparing dinner, we opted to empty the two remaining laundry baskets. Eman’s basket was first emptied last Friday and Saturday, then Sunday came and Ella’s clothes are washed. Mine and Donald’s are the last to get cleaned and I feel so good that we finally did it.

Since we have a sleeping little man in the hammock, I sent Ella and Donald first there. I am still full so I stayed with Eman and asked Donald to buy me food before they come home in case I decide that I won’t be coming over. So there goes Ella with her gift and after just a few moments, Donald came knocking and told me that the host wanted me to come over and so I did. I just had little rice and “lechon” (roasted pig) but I pigged out on biko (glutinous rice cake), chocolate cake, banana and two slices of watermelon. ;-) Read more… »

I do believe in miracles and this morning, I witnessed one. Baby Taz was pretty behaved in our Sunday School class and it was indeed a miracle. :-) Unlike the past Sundays when all she does is getting so physical with her cousin, lie down on the floor as if she’s in their house, getting her hands into all the stuffs at Ella’s study table and walking back and forth disturbing not just me but the entire class…..today she stayed there at her chair, eyes pinned on me and repeats every word I utter (that I asked her to stop)while I tell them another story about Jesus. She and her cousin hasn’t exchanged kicks and pinches and it was such a miracle. :-) I now see her as a doll or an angel, not a Baby Taz. Read more… »

Digital times

When Donald decided that he called me from the mall that he’s buying a digital camera almost 10 months ago, I was hysterical. I literally mean it. I was almost yelling on the phone that if he’d buy one, I am declaring World War III but he never ever took it seriously and found it cute how I tried to threat him. Read more… »

Best Buy

Since I am now earning a wee bit from blogging galore, I was thinking about buying Ella a toy laptop at best buy on her next birthday :-) Yeah you read it right…on her NEXT birthday. That would be June 2, 2009. I still have plenty of time to save for it. (As if the toy laptop costs a hundred dollars) Well, time flies so fast and you will just be surprised that a year has passed by. Who knows on her 6th birthday I have a Page Rank number 5 with tons of $$ on my paypal….I will not get her a toy laptop but a real one!
