I am so full. We had shrimps, crabs and lechon (roasted pig) for dinner. The neighbor invited us to her son’s birthday and she saw me sewing surrounded with a huge mess. So she said she will just bring food for us but wanting Ella to go there for some games. In just a few moments food was delivered by their househelp and Donald’s eyes are sparkling. hehehehehe. Thankies neighbor! Forgot her name because I seldom go out of the house. ;-)

I am working on an order from a doctor based in Mandaluyong and it’s feeding time again for the little guy. I decided to blog a bit so I wouldn’t be catching up about many things going on here. I do not know if Eman is cutting his second tooth but I guess he is. He was very fussy yesterday. He is down with colds and have some episodes of slight fever. We went out yesterday to do some delivery and that helped a lot in easing his pain. Read more… »

This a long overdue post but I am always a believer of the adage “Better Late Than Never” so here is my more than two weeks late post.
.
Last June 25 and 26 we were in Davao City. That was Thursday and Friday but Ella has no class so we decided it is best to travel that time so we could be back when the Balikbayan boxes arrives here. It was originally addressed to my sister Crislyn’s apartment because we were planning to move to Kabacan last summer. It took 5 months to get those most awaited boxes due to some delays. Well when Eman did come out all plans must be canceled for financial reasons and we were lucky that the forwarding company let me change the address from the city to the province.
.
We left Trento at 10:30am and we were already in Davao at 2pm. Since the bus takes the route that passes by SM, we got off there and went inside to look for the little boy’s clothes. He has outgrown most of his baby clothes so fast and at 3 months, he wears 6-9 mos or 9-12mos clothes! There’s not much on sale there so we headed my sister Crislyn’s place at almost 6pm.

So we’re here in Davao for 3 days…..and counting. We could have gone home yesterday even when Kuya Bernard and company postponed the trip but I am not riding a bus this time. Maybe the choleric in me is kicking in because I already set in my mind that we are not commuting going here and back there. Don’t get me wrong. I am not “maarte” because I can ride the most rusty bus in the archipelago only that I already had it in mind that we will be travelling straight. No stop-overs to every town’s terminal. I could bear that. The stop-over thing but not now, not tomorrow, not this week. Not when I already had it in mind that we are going home with Kuya Bernard. It was already planned so it is fixed. No more changing or else I declare World War. :-( Read more… »
