I feel so lucky that I only feel my eyes hurt once since we got our computer. Maybe this is something to do with the monitor because when I use pc’s with CRT monitors, my head will be in circles even after just an hour of staring at it. Ours has LCD one and I am glad about it because I don’t want to wear my glasses again. Although I have a lightweight frame which cost me more than $50 10 years ago, I still find it very uncomfortable having it right on my face every time I read a book or sit on the computer. Since it was too expensive for me, I just bring it to the optometrist for lens replacement each time I feel the need of having it changed. Read more… »
I love reading (didn’t I tell you yet?)
I would doze off with a book on my hand and when I wake up (especially when there’s no class) reading would be the first thing I do. That was the time when we still live in our old house with wooden jalousies that kept the sunlight from coming in the room. And so I was there lying in bed reading through the little light that passes through a thin slat on the bedroom wall. I did that for several years and it caused me to wear eyeglasses when I was still freshman high school. I tell you, my very first pair was a large r.e.d frame.
There isn’t much to choose from because we live in a small town with just two small optical clinics. I have changed frames for three times until I got tired of wearing it. I remember the last one that got was way too expensive and it’s not worth it at all. Read more… »
