If Ella will soon to be toothless, Eman will soon to have his first! Yeah, he is cutting a tooth and I noticed it this morning. He is pretty fussy and everything we do cannot pacify him.

If we have little gate crasher some years ago, we discovered we do have a little gossip king. I like it better than “gossip prince”.
We went out yesterday to meet three clients and boy was it so hard to get them all in one place. One couldn’t leave her booth at the Christmas Bazaar held in Davao Convention and Trade Center so I decided to meet her there. I am just glad that the second client was very understanding and flexible. She and her husband met us there too. All the while we were there, I walk like I see none of those oh so tempting stuffs on display. I wish I had money to get some Sunday dress for the four of us and some toys for the little guy. Ella was very good and didn’t give us headache. After handing the items to them and had some chit chat, we headed to SM to meet the young mom who ordered a baby sling. It was already half past 6 in the evening so we went to eat at the foodcourt. What I like there is the wide variety of food from the food stalls and Eman can have some soup too. Donald was giving me a hint that he doesn’t like there because we didn’t see any high chair there. But we are wrong for I found one and it looked much more cleaner that other fastfoods at the grounds level. Even if it’s new and looked clean, I still sprayed and wiped it clean.
Oh yeah! Our little guy now knows how to do the classic “close-open” thing (and I think he is back to his old self who loves the camera). maybe if I could have devoted more time in teaching him that, he could have learned to do it earlier because I have been showing him how to do it for just less than a minute two or three times a day. I do not know if this is taught to babies in other parts of the globe. Basically, it’s the opening and closing of the hand while you sing “Close open…close…open” over and over again until your baby gets tired or bored. LOL
I still did it yesterday but he just looked at the movement of my hand. I would hold his wrist so he would know that I wanted him to follow me but he will just stare at it blankly. This morning was a surprise. He moved his tiny fingers in “close-open” motion! You should see him move his tiny fingers while I sing the song. So cute!!!! Love you balong! You make me so proud! The Daddy is so proud too that his son now knows something other than eating. hahahahaha! of course he knows more than eating and ‘close-open’. He’s very smart baby and nobody dare argue with me because this is my OWN blog. hahahahaha!
So a stage mother like me would not let this contest pass….this is my entry and I am asking you guys to leave a comment and/or like this photo. This contest is not about how cute your baby is but it’s all about the number of likes and comments HERE. I am wishing we will win because I just don’t LIKE the prize but I really NEED it. Samsung is giving away ST500 digital camera for the top 5 entry who has the most likes and comments and they gonna pick two lucky commentators who will get ST500 too! I just hope we could get more comments and likes from you all. I know we cannot get a better camera for my little business and of course for capturing the kids milestones and so I am wishing and hoping this will be the answer.

Would want to post tonight about Eman’s check-up and how our Sunday went but I am not feeling well. I had this very sharp pain in my glabella (the space between the eyebrows) when I wake up this morning. It might be due to lack of sleep and it got worst after dinner. Donald gave me a massage on the head and back but it just helped a little. I pointed a spot above my head that hurts so bad when you put a little pressure on it and he did a massage using his thumb. I am so thankful it went away. I started crying like a baby earlier that startled Ella. She was tending her farms and cafe’s on Facebook but stopped it to be my nurse. Cheche went home to my sister Crislyn’s place last Saturday so I cannot be sick.
We are spending the night here at my sister Crislyn’s apartment because tomorrow will be Eman’s day at his pedia’s clinic. We don’t have a plan to get him checked this soon because his VCUG came out fine and the only issue is his excessive sweating on the head and his very unpleasant odor of poop and gas that each time he passes it at a public place, I need to let people hear “Umutot ka baby?” so they won’t suspect that I don’t have a breeding. Oh well I hope they believe me that Eman did it and not me. LOL The reason why we are bringing him tomorrow to see Dr. Lobo is because I am suspecting he has thrush. He has all the symptoms of it and it bothers me so much. This can’t wait until we get our pay because the white spots have spread on the roof of his mouth. Had noticed it last Monday morning while we were in Kabacan. He has white creamy lesions on his lips and when I checked further inside, I say three small white spots on the roof of his mouth. Now it got worst and I was hoping we could get paid today. Sadly we didn’t and so is my sister Crislyn. Glad that I have this check that was paid to me by Ms. Alex for the cloth diapers. I was out of my mind when she asked if I wanted it to be cross checked. I said yes. Then I remember I should have not let her put lines on it because my bank is in Victoria Plaza, farthest mall from our place. But she is so good to agree to me bringing the check back to his husband’s store tomorrow. See….God really provides. I wish Eman will get well soon. Another ordeal for our little man.
Here’s some pictures of the big sister babysitting the little guy just tonight while I was working on the computer.
Ella: Press C-A-T….then enter.

When it rains, it pours

Weather is constantly changing here. We had sun early in the day and had a heavy down pour at night while we were at Manang Inday’s cousin’s place for dinner the other Sunday. They say when it rain, it pours and so that is what really happened. It’s getting late and there’s no power so we really have to go home. Here’s the little man wearing his rain coat out of plastic bag.
Ate Rose, the one who came from the US whom I talked about my previous post, asked me how am I taking care for my kids that they are both ‘big’ babies with oh so chunky legs. There’s nothing in particular. It’s not in the formula since Ella was bottle fed while Eman is breastfeed. I think it’s all in the genes because I am a big baby and so was Donald. So if you got this heavy baby, packing him around will make you loose weight the way a diet pill works.
Holding on

He could have understood when I told Donald that I don’t trust the strength of the hooks that are holding the hammock…..
So he held on tightly for his dear life.
I should write a series of posts this morning while Eman is in his hammock. We were at Manang Inday’s place the other day for lunch (to break the monotony of them being here everyday for lunch and dinner) but we have to bring him home right after we finished our food. He was getting very fussy because he was so sleepy and was looking for his hammock. This hammock really helps a LOT. During our first few days here, Eman naps in the bed (he wouldn’t want to be put down in his crib even during playtime and I wonder why) and wakes up every now and then when he hear a noise. We wouldn’t want to be hammering nails on the walls here because this is not our place but Donald figured out what to do. He brought out some big hooks that Mama Ingrid sent along with the stuffs in the big boxes and drilled it on the ceiling. I was very hesitant to put Eman down because it might not hold Eman’s weight but thank goodness we didn’t had any fall yet and I must say we won’t have any of it.
