I have some sort of ME time while the little guy was having his afternoon nap and Donald and the little girl are off to downtown area to pay bills. They will also pick up a small parcel at the post office. I hope it’s still there because the first notice came last November 6. I think they will discarding (I think bringing home is more appropriate) the parcels if not claimed withing 60 days. We still have until tomorrow to claim it that law is applied. It’s actually for Ella from a friend in the US. I think it is a book. But even it’s only a book, the thought of sending it all the way from where it came from made me really want to go get it. If you live up here in Catalunan Pequeño, you would agree that going downtown (particularly in the Post Office) is not at all easy. Well to me it isn’t since I don’t have something to do near that area. So since Donald will be paying our light bill which is just over the corner, they might as well get it.
Anyway, as I was fixing Ella’s helmet and was reminding her not to sleep (they are riding the motorcycle) and to take good care, he was like a grandma again telling me more DO’s and DONT’S. Not to forget to lock ALL doors and windows, not to let strangers in and not to go out of the house unless it is on fire.
This girl can drive me nuts!

Mt. Apo’s majestic view from Paradise Island
Oh my goodness. It’s already the 4th of January yet I have not blogged about our New Year’s celebration. Well, we are all crazy over beaches (note: white sand beaches that is) and we all so wanted to spend a day or two there last Christmas but our resources won’t permit. But that didn’t stop us from planning….and so we are talking about it non-stop right after Christmas. My sister will be getting her bonus before New Year so there is still a slight sign that we are really going.

Ella is back home. It was her first time to go with someone not a family member and honestly I was very nervous. I haven’t blogged yet about this young couple who really adore her. The first time I heard about the wife is when Ella brought home a couple of papaya fruits a few days after we moved in here. She said it was from the neighbor named Irene. I come to know her by what Manang Inday has told be about, that she is nice and that her husband is working abroad. Then a few weeks ago Ella brought home a Tupperware filled with fruit salad. She proudly announced she helped Irene prepare it. Read more… »

I think it’s cat food….nom…nom…nom….
We celebrated Christmas with my family. Daddy came over from Pagadian City. Donald wanted to celebrate with BIL’s parents (with Daddy of course) but they went to Siquijor to visit the family of BIL’s mom. So we were not complete (we are celebrating Christmas with them for several years now and we missed them so much) but still we had fun. Since it is just us we decided to do exchanging of gifts to make the occasion more fun.

It’s been like ages since I last wrote a post. Like I always say, it is not easy for me to blog when there is too much to blog about. There was the visit at UP Mindanao, the reunion (well not quite the reunion you would want) with some cousins, some aunts, some nephews and nieces and the Christmas celebration with my father, sisters and BIL. During the reunion, we just had a simple get together at Mergrande Beach Resort where Eman had his first beach experience. He had a blast and that is what I never expected. I thought he would cry and be afraid of the waters but I was so wrong. The moment he saw the waters, he was rocking his body back on forth as if to help us reach the water faster. LOL

….is my two front teeth. I love that song and now that is my Ella’s theme song.
I should have waited a little longer to post my entry last night because after I did, Ella announced her loose tooth is about to come off.

She showed it to me first and when I checked, it is not that loose yet. I told her to wait for another day. Duh! I always delay everything…..you know naman I get so nervous when it comes to my kids. I am a warrior kid before and did all the pulling by myself but it’s a lot different now. I can’t do it anymore. She wouldn’t take a NO or WAIT for an answer. Read more… »

Waaaah! The little guy is much fussier tonight.
It’s not just due to teething but it’s the 4th time he had thrush and when he has it, he also has rashes on his neck and nape. His rashes is the worst in all those episodes. It spread in the back of his ears and part of his head. But he was very cooperative earlier when Donald and Ella went to Land Transportation Office (LTO) for a student’s permit. We played and cuddled a lot, I fed him with solid and he breastfed a lot too, we both napped and we did a lot of talking too.

Last night I was craving for something not found in the house so I ended up eating a burger, hotdog in a bun, worms, a lizard, turtle, bears and a tongue.

I spared the pizza ’cause Ella asked me to. There are still two packets that are not in the picture and I finished it all in just a matter of minutes. I am wanting more!!! I need to get a bunch of these for my sweet tooth. I am lucky the owner (whoelse but Ella) believed in me not to eat sweets and she happily obliged afraid her teeth will rot. Because I said so and Mommy is always right. Hahahahaha!

At last I was able to explore farther in the back of the house. I can’t say it’s our backyard since our yard ends a few feet from the kitchen’s doorstep. hehehehe. I know there is a river down that cliff near the house but I never had the guts to go down there. When the kids woke up from their afternoon nap (and Donald was still snoring), I let them wear their pajamas and grabbed the camera so we can see even a bit of it.

There is the house, the second yellow house from right. Because of the tree covering part of the house, I can’t get a good view so I decided now is the chance to get a glimpse up close.
