It will be one week since we went to Bukidnon for the supposed to be a happy family reunion ( more updates on my later posts) 
and yet I have not written a decent post about it. Maybe because I was so tired and it was an ordeal for me and for Ella and Donald as well. The trip going there itself was so long that I have said I would never ever go back there anytime soon. We left home last Friday at 8:30am just in time to catch the 9am King Long bus but it didn’t arrive until 10am. 
There are several non-airconditioned bus that went ahead but it would be so hard for me to get settled in their very uncomfortable seat. We were looking forward to a very long trip so we need to be comfortable especially me because my bump is getting bigger.

I am planning to make a long post about our trip but I got sidetracked with grabbing opps and got hooked playing Farm Mania in the computer the whole day. 
Then in the evening, we had a service at the wake of one of the members who died last Sunday. Ella was well behaved when we got there, jsut sitting beside me until she noticed that there was only one flower beside the coffin that she started getting so uneasy wanting to get outside to gather some fresh flowers for the dead. Today’s my birthday and I wanted to celebrate it “peacefully” and so I already briefed Ella and Donald not to tell anyone in the neighborhood. When the clock ticked 12:01am, Donald and Ella greeted me and in the morning I got messages from my sisters, BIL, cousins and friends. Wish they are here to celebrate with us. We already prepared the food and had a nice dinner last night since I want to spare myself from the stress in cooking and cleaning on my birthday. We just had macaroni, spaghetti and puto cheese. As much as I want to make this blog as personal journal as I wanted it to be, I could not resist monetizing it. But I will try to make it as personal as I could. Please be patient with me because I needed some moolah. My sister Crislyn sent me a YM message last night that there are many opps up for grab. I was in bed then trying to get Ella to sleep and Donald was infront of the pc so he did the hunting but there’s nothing available opps on our end. My sister offered to open my account and found nothing but she said to wait and so we waited until I finally grabbed one. Finally, because I don’t have the luck before. This was taken last December 4, 2004 at Eden Nature Park in Toril, Davao City. That’ll be 4 years tomorrow! Time really flies so fast. Ella was still so small here (1 year 6 months) and it took her longer to climb up the steps with her short legs. But man, this girl really had a great time there.
And YUMMIER too …I am talking about our Caramel Popcorn not the one you are thinking about. 
This afternoon I made another batch of Caramel Popcorn using the Jolly Time Popcorn that was sent by Mama Ingrid. I could say it is so much better because it pops great! No waste! Unlike the local popcorn that Donald bought in the grocery store here. Many kernels did not pop at all. I also did some adjustments again of making the caramel and it turned out better!!!! It is crunchier and the caramel is not grainy as the first batch. I still have to see the result if it was baked. Donald like it more and I do too. I think I will send some to Ella at school tomorrow so the whole class could help us tell if this is just perfect and if we could start selling. Read more… »
Like last month, our meal fellowship went very well. I’ve been looking forward to this since I have noticed a great improvement on the members participation. When we arrived here last May, there was no such activity such as this and we figure out to start an activity wherein members could spend time getting to know each other more and so the meal fellowship was initiated.
Since it’s Saturday, we slept longer until almost 9am. After Ella had her breakfast, I cut her hair using the clipper set that Mama Ingrid sent us. To keep her sit still, I let her watch a movie but even she sat still, I cut it is shorter than I wanted.
