She made it again!

I wrote 8 paragraphs of bragging in here but I lost it! Argh. I had no idea how it happened. But anyway, I just want to brag about Ella’s passing the SPED entrance test at Bangkal campus. Yehey! So we are torn between Tugbok and Bangkal SPED schools. Congratulations Ella for passing the two tests! Daddy and Mommy are so proud of you!

Have to go back sewing now. I want to pull my hair for loosing my long post but that will just give me less time to do some tasks for today. hehehehe. And oh by the way, I even lost the photo of the elliptical machines. Bad luck but this won’t ruin my day. :D

Birth pictures

I was looking at old pictures and found these precious ones. I forgot to blog about this, not that they don’t really matter to me but because I can’t keep up with a lot of things to blog about when this happened. Last March 20, 2009, the day before her Graduation Day, Ella drew this in 4″ x 6″ white board.

We were waiting for Eman to make an appearance and she envisions what will happen when that most awaited day will come. As you can see, I am on the delivery table and the doctor was helping Eman come out.

I wrote last night about Ella’s Barbie dresses made of scraps from my cloth diapers and baby slings. Julie left a comment in that post wanting to see the pictures and so I am sharing to you all the photos of her masterpieces.

Knocked out

The little guy slept for 14.5 hours straight!!!!! That surprised me because he usually stays up late sometimes until past midnight. If he sleeps early, he will wake up and play before calling it a night but last night he slept all through out. These photos will tell why he’s knocked out.

Perfect 10

I was bitten by the lazy bug again. Ugh! I was occupied with so many stuffs in and out of the house that I was like counting the days that my blog hasn’t been updated. Though I posted a lay-out, it’s not it but as promised, I will write a somewhat decent post or if I am lucky – posts – about how our week went.

Last Saturday, Ella was bugging me to skip church. If you knew her, she is counting the days until Sunday and will get really disappointed if we can’t attend the service. It’s because she doesn’t want to miss a class in Sunday School so she can get a medal too on their Recognition and Promotional Ceremony next January. Two Sundays ago she showed us a paper. It’s the list of the things God has created with a long memory verse at the back and that was the reason of it all. She said she’s not prepared for the quiz. Gah! I have only made her agree to come with us to church after I told her to just do her best and if her best is not good enough then it is perfectly alright. Then I reminded her of the dress I made for her. She went back reading her notes over and over again until she fell asleep.

I stayed up until 3 in the morning sewing while Donald worked on the computer. I had 3 hours of sleep. It’s like I just dozed off, dreamed of buying a pink and brown Samsonite luggage for a vacation and then it’s time to be getting ready to church. Ella was so happy to wear the dress and was even happier that she got a perfect score of 10 on their quiz. :-D She made us so proud!!!!!!

Meeting new friends

I am not feeling well today. I guess it’s the over-exertion from holding Eman. He is becoming more and more active and when he’s on my lap, he tries to reach for things that he finds interesting. He also have this attitude of making his head fall back when he can’t get what he wanted. Well I am the mother and he can’t get his way. I am giving him a swat on the leg and tell him it’s not good each time he does that. He’s 9 months and he’s not too young for discipline. So there you go, nip it in the bud.

So the whole morning I was feeling sick. Donald gave me a massage and he said what I needed is a joy ride. I don’t want to be called a wet blanket so I agreed. We went to Mintal taking the back road as usual. The afternoon breeze was cold and I somehow felt better. We wanted to eat so we looked around for a resto that serves Pansit Guisado and the like and so we did some kind of a little tour because we are not yet familiar with the place. While we are looking around I told Donald about the fellow blogger, Chikai, who grew up in that place. Last night I scoured her blog for the post she did many months ago when her grandma died. It has photos of their house. I was lucky to have found it last night so I told Donald about it and he was interested in finding it too. I knew the name of the street but we didn’t get around to asking people where it can be found because on our next turn I saw a house that I thought their house (I mean her parent’s house – since she is married and is based in the US now). But the house is not like what I saw in the pictures…..theirs is green and beside it is their grandma’s house. We are slowly moving and as we got near the curb, I saw a very familiar house. Nightmares

It’s half past 1 in the morning but I am still awake. Donald was working in the living room and I am here in the bedroom. Our two baybees are sleeping and I find it too cute how they sleep. They are both facing the left and when I check on them again they are both facing the right. :-)

It’s cold over here so Ella wore a stockings to bed and they both have no qualms when I put their fleece blankets over them. These kids hates blankets.

Waaaaaaah! As I was writing this post the TV inside the bedroom went on and off a few times by itself! Ohmaygawd! I froze! Really! That TV was put off hours ago. :-( Ella also gave me a little scare earlier too when I was feeding Eman. They are both asleep and Eman started whimpering so I lied in between them to feed him. Ella stood up, I thought he has to go pee but she stood infront of the TV (which was off) and after a few moments she bawled. I have to get Donald carry her like a baby. She had a bad dream. I think it was about the dirtbike. She was telling me she wanted to ride again but it was put off.

I hope there will be no other bad dream for her and I hope I can sleep soundly too. I hate nightmares.

The dirtbike rider

This morning, Richie called to invite Ella for breakfast. We don’t usually let her out of the house during mornings and they don’t usually call Ella that early (she can go out at around 4pm) but since she is “mourning”, we let her go out. I think Richie and Irene are trying to make her forget about Miyaki too and so today she was pretty spoiled by all.

Broken-hearted

I tried to avoid blogging about how our day went yesterday. It’s because until now my heart is heavy seeing Ella in tears. She is broken hearted.

But then I think I have to write about it for Ella when she grows up. Read more… »

Her new bike

I promised to post pictures of Ella’s new bike that was bought by a young couple in the neighborhood, Irene and Richie. I am really bad at keeping promises. hehehehehe. It’s not yet too late so guys here is Ella and her new bike.

Photobucket

There are nicer shots but the pictures were saved in the laptop and Donald carelessly deleted everything when he changed the OS to Windows 7. He said he thought all are already moved/saved in the desktop. I am really pissed but I think I have to get used to it. We are raised differently and that is what you call DIVERSITY. He is lucky he got deleted just a few sets of photos. They are of Ella and her new bike. I could still take another sets of photos. That photo above was uploaded by me at photobucket several days ago. Glad I still have one to show you.

Anyhoo, enough rants now. Better watch Urban Zone while doing something in the computer (i.e. digiscrap a little and do some little reading about about cheapest car insurance. See yah in the morning peeps!
