As me and my sister Crislyn looks forward for the day that our younger sister Cheche will finally graduate from college this March, Ella is now getting impatient to graduate from Kindergarten too. She said she’s tired of getting up and taking a bath so early but I told her that when she’s in 1st grade in June, she needs to get up and go to school earlier. Read the rest of this entry »

I would just be making an update about Ella’s business since it’s nearing midnight and we have just arrived from Ate Lourdes house. She invited us over for dinner and spent almost the whole night chatting with her SIL-Ate Rosie Tejada. Read the rest of this entry »

I am not in my best mood today because I have not yet taken a bath and it’s already 6pm.
We woke up this morning with no power and since there’s no announcement regarding this 12-hour power interruption yesterday, we have not showered nor done the dishes. Read the rest of this entry »

We had a very gloomy weather today with a lot of rain. I was wondering where the rain water did come from when it was raining the entire week. There’s not much of sunshine to drain the water and turn it to rain again. Well, that’s what we learn from our Science subject in 4th grade right? Read the rest of this entry »

I am very happy that the Korean TeleSerye Three Dads and One Mom will end soon. Not that I don’t like it but because it is aired at 10:30pm and my five-year-old is looking forward to it each night. I could not debate her about going to bed early and skipping the show because Donald is so addicted to it too. So each night, they snuggle together infront of the tube while I try to be productive infront of the pc. Lately I’ve been too engrossed uploading photos in my friendster account.

Since I am feeling so grumpy every morning, Donald let me stay in bed when it’s time for Ella to prepare for school. Although I was already awake, staying in bed and not moving around much helped a lot. I heard them have their usual battle of the will from eating breakfast until Ella went in the room to kiss me goodbye. She wouldn’t forget to kiss me and hug me a couple of times before leaving which her Daddy find so funny because it’s like we won’t be able to see each other again. Read the rest of this entry »

Our day went pretty good today inspite of the bad weather. The first thing I did was cut flowers to put in the vase for today’s worship service. I planted cosmos in the frontyard two months ago. I was hoping to grow several rows of it that would be a great sight when I look outside the window and take photos that would be wonderful for future use for memes but they all grew taller than me! That’s not what I was looking for. It’s mother plant was just perfect, its height was at the level of my shoulders only and I could get photos of its flowers without any hassles. It’s Saturday once again and where else could we be found but in the market. We live lightyears away from malls and though it is kinda boring out here, I like here more because we can save a lot of money from unnecessary purchases and spendings. In the morning, I went to the market while Donald and Ella are still in bed in hopes that I could find maternity tops in the ukay-ukay. Read the rest of this entry »

ACTUALLY is one of the words that amuse me lately. Ella was doing good in learning to speak English and three nights ago, when I was telling her to come up in bed she made me and Donald burst in laughter. “ACTUALLY, ‘di pa ako inaantok.” (Actually, I am not sleepy yet.) And she pronounced the word pretty well. I asked her where on earth did she get that word and she answered, “Galing kay Rabbit.” (It’s from Rabbit.) Yeah, Rabbit. The keritz lover in Winnie the Pooh movies. She’s really learning.

I do not know why I feel I wanted to clean the whole house. It was like I am going somewhere for a vacation and I do not want to see any clutter when I return. When we did the laundry yesterday, I feel the same way too. I wanted to empty the laundry basket and have fresh and clean clothes to bring on our trip. Although I know that we aren’t making the trip to my hometown anymore, I still feel we are going somewhere.
I have been making some cleaning-up project since Monday. I already washed the windows, dusted shelves and tables, waxed the floor, rearranged the bedroom, totally cleaned and sorted out the stuffs on Ella’s desk and the laundry just dried up. But there’s more to do around this small house. Read the rest of this entry »
