Rice, rice and rice

I just woke up from deep slumber. :D I didn’t notice it’s already 11am because it’s raining and it feels like it’s 6am. The family went to Matina Town Square for a midnight bazaar. We were not there to shop, we were there to sell. It was fun and we got a good sales although we wished it was something bigger. But we were happy anyway because we still made a sales even the weather is bad. The bazaar is from 7pm to 12midnight during Fridays and Saturdays. We were the earliest birds for two days. We wanted to be the first to get a good parking space just near the tent. Eman and Ella had so much fun roaming around. We brought Eman’s trike and he did make a good use of it…to the point of abusing it. LOL Read more… »

Peace and quiet

I am so proud of the little guy. He behaved the whole service at the wake of the father of our church elder. :) This is something that is very unusual. I bore two of the most hyperactive babies in the world.

The only time we could have peace and quiet.

The very reason why I easily loose post-pregnancy weight like diet pills that actually work. I do not know what God must be thinking when He made them. Maybe He’s thinking I and Donald has all the energy to be chasing them almost 24/7. LOL I am not complaining. I actually love how they could make the house alive. We are one of the luckiest that we have children that can walk. Feels so sorry for my cousin who has a daughter that still cannot walk at 7.

On diet pills

Manang Inday will be coming over for lunch today. Since she is the guest, I will ask her to cook “pinakbet”. That is what we are doing since we moved here near her place. Soon if my sister Crislyn and BIL (along with Cheche and the dogs and the cat) will move here, we will be having feasts everyday! Can’t wait for that day to come. By then I will be gaining back weight the weight I lost during Eman’s hospital stays. Manang Inday is a good eater and so are we and in no time we will be searching for the best diet pills if we cannot do brisk walking around the neighborhood.

Dinner date for two

Donald and I would be celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary next month. We don’t have plans yet for that special day but I think I wanted to spend it at the resort where we’ve been last Sunday. For a change because we usually celebrate it just at home staring at each other with nothing but the usual meal. We don’t have that much to spend for a little celebration and it has been that way for the past years. It’s alright with me because Donald surprises me with sweet nothings if the budget permits even there is no special occassion. But if time and budget permits, we could have a candle light dinner in Davao. Just the two of us…outside my sister’s apartment. Read more… »

Fat is beautiful

While others might feel like swallowing up whole the person who says they gained weight, I always feel the opposite. I feel flattered. I don’t know why but after I gave birth to Ella, it’s been so hard to gain even a pound. I quickly lost all my treasured fats. I love the bulges you know because it’s a sign that you aren’t starving. Not only that, I see women with those bulges as sexy and are problem-free. They are beautiful and I mean it. I always envy my ever complaining cousins about their size. Read more… »

Our little body pillow

Aside from having episodes of excruciating pain in my stomach last night, our day went well and uneventful. After I did my post, I joined Donald in the living room to watch GMA’s documentary on Mantigue Island while Ella played her newest Yahoo game fave – Under Construction. (We are Kapamilya but we watch GMA’s documentaries) Read more… »

Oh bummer…

Today is Saturday and as I have already said, I like this day more than any day of the week because it is “market day”. Since we skipped going to the market last week, we planned in going there today to buy fruits and vegetables that I really need.

Yesterday, I was checking my eon account if the $35 I transferred from my paypal account has already been sent but until this morning I still haven’t received it. I was puzzled how come it took so long for the money trasnfer when it usually takes 3 days for the whole process? So I checked my paypal and I was surprised that the $35 is still there waving at me. What a bummer! Read more… »
