I am overly excited to go to Davao so I could find out the gender of the baby and maybe pick some on sale baby stuffs at the mall so I was sweet talking to Donald about having an ultrasound near the mall. My doctor’s clinic is in the western part of the city and from my BIL’s place, it would take us nearly an hour by taxi to get there. Such a long travel for me considering that by that time, we have just arrived from here after a good three hour bus ride. I was wondering if my doctor has any plans on moving her clinic somewhere near downtown so it would be more convenient for the patients and also so she could get more walk-in clients. Although I presume she might be one of the sought after OB-gyne in the city (because even her clinic is almost over the mountain) she has still so much patients seeing her, getting the best location will be very beneficial for both parties. I don’t know what’s with the horses that kids would really go oohhh and aahhhs when they see one and would beg, really really beg to ride it. Ella has been dying to have a ride and when I told her that I once experienced it when I was 7 when we went for a vacation at Daddy’s hometown, she’s asking me when she could go there too. When we went to my FIL’s little farm in Bukidnon almost two weeks ago, she saw a brown horse grazing beyond the farm’s fence and she was itching to go near it. If the owner was in sight, I could have asked if Ella could get a short ride just so she would stop ranting about it. Then I remember the Gap farm in Davao City. We’ve been there when Ella was turning two and I ‘ve seen they offer horse back riding to the public. Read more… »
I am not in my best mood today because I have not yet taken a bath and it’s already 6pm.
We woke up this morning with no power and since there’s no announcement regarding this 12-hour power interruption yesterday, we have not showered nor done the dishes. Read more… »
We had a very gloomy weather today with a lot of rain. I was wondering where the rain water did come from when it was raining the entire week. There’s not much of sunshine to drain the water and turn it to rain again. Well, that’s what we learn from our Science subject in 4th grade right? Read more… »
I was hoping I could make this post as short as possible so as not to bore you all. The only thing that could make it possible would be to let pictures talk, so here goes my post about our 10 day vacation to Davao and Kabacan.
We left Trento at 11am last October 27. Donald was dreaming about boarding the King Long bus but we are not so lucky. Read more… »
This will be one of the earliest post I will be writing in my entire blogging career life. I am having some wild thoughts about a new plan that I hope will bring us good life.
I was thinking about enrolling in a baking and cake decorating course. When you ask me why, I simply do not know.
Oh but I begin thinking about that when I come to realize how I get frustrated when the cake I ordered for Ella’s birthdays did not turn out the way I wanted. I remember when she turned 2, she celebrated her birthday with relatives on my mother side at Waterworld Resort in Davao. Several days before the small party, I went to order a cake for her bringing with me a drawing of a cake design/layout that I wanted. When I went to pick up the cake, it was not the way I wanted. Before going to the resort, I put additional flowers, balloons and put Pooh and friends figurine which I have bought weeks before. I just knew that I needed to have those and I am glad I did buy those. Read more… »
When I say lazy, I really mean it.
Donald and Ella went to watch the street parade and the showdown at the High School grounds. They are asking me to come but I just could not get my lazy butt off the bed. I feel tired today (well, I feel that E.V.E.R.Y.D.A.Y.) and I can’t tolerate standing under the heat of the sun for an hour or so. After I kissed Ella, I sent her off with Donald with an umbrella. She prepared for this event so she has her water and chocolates in her pocket. Then I went back to bed feeling a lot worst than ever.
