I have so much to blog about that I didn’t know where to start. There are so many good things happened that I don’t know if I am just dreaming. First, orders kept coming in the way I didn’t expect but really really wanted. After delivering the orders last Sunday, I was praying nobody will call me about wanting cloth diapers or baby slings because laundry piled up in the other room and if you’ve been following my blog…you know I don’t want to do it one batch at a time. So God heard it and he really didn’t send anyone my way for orders. Someone did asked for a quote for diapers and a sling while on our way home that night and I was happy she still need a little time since she can’t access my multiply site for the fabric and sizing. So yesterday I spent more than 12 hours doing the laundry. Imagine that! ![]()

If we have little gate crasher some years ago, we discovered we do have a little gossip king. I like it better than “gossip prince”.
We went out yesterday to meet three clients and boy was it so hard to get them all in one place. One couldn’t leave her booth at the Christmas Bazaar held in Davao Convention and Trade Center so I decided to meet her there. I am just glad that the second client was very understanding and flexible. She and her husband met us there too. All the while we were there, I walk like I see none of those oh so tempting stuffs on display. I wish I had money to get some Sunday dress for the four of us and some toys for the little guy. Ella was very good and didn’t give us headache. After handing the items to them and had some chit chat, we headed to SM to meet the young mom who ordered a baby sling. It was already half past 6 in the evening so we went to eat at the foodcourt. What I like there is the wide variety of food from the food stalls and Eman can have some soup too. Donald was giving me a hint that he doesn’t like there because we didn’t see any high chair there. But we are wrong for I found one and it looked much more cleaner that other fastfoods at the grounds level. Even if it’s new and looked clean, I still sprayed and wiped it clean.
Thank God we are still alive

These are potted poinsettia’s for sale at SM. They are so beautiful and each time I see them on display, I feel very Christmassy.
But not the night I first saw it there this year because we were in a hurry. I just asked Ella to pose for me very quickly so I can take some pictures.
Wow, I can’t believe I am still awake! I was about to just call it a night but the massage was so good it awakened my nerves. I am just sooooooo lucky to have a private masseur and hubby in one. So we all went downtown to meet Melody, the lady who ordered the cloth diapers and baby sling. Last night, Donald was working on the computer while waiting for me to get it all done. If not because of Eman who called to eat at 4am, I could have not gone to bed. By 8am he was up and about and was crawling over me to reach for her sleeping big sister. I was still really sleepy and my eyes are still half shut but I am holding him so he won’t hit his head on the wall or fell on the floor. When you are breastfeeding, your baby at this age can conveniently feed himself even if you are asleep. Yes Eman has already mastered that and he also woke me by a sharp pain by his gums clenching on my nipple. I almost shouted with pain when he did that but I don’t have the energy to do that so I just pulled him from my breast and next thing I knew is he was on my other breast and was squeezing it. Only a few days had pass since I posted an ad in Davaosale and I am tremendously happy that I am getting good response. Well for me it is good since I am not expecting that people will find my ad or look for something like I sell. Cloth diapers and baby slings are pretty new here in the Philippines and the fact that only small portion of the population uses the internet, I have to have patience and the will to continue what I have started. I am actually close to giving up because of money issues. I need to have a good inventory because we are far from where I am getting the materials and this is preventing me from getting this little business in full swing. Also transportation is a problem but hey who told you these things will stop me? Who knows this will make us rich then I would ask Donald to check on the used rv for sale on one of the sites I have visited so we can do the shopping and deliveries much easier. He will really love that!

We just came home from my sister Crislyn’s place and glad the little guy has fallen asleep in the taxi. I was very careful not to wake him up while putting him down in his hammock so I can do a little blogging and blog hopping. It was already dark when we left here but it seems we were at my sister’s place for a long time. Donald and I were actually undecided if we should go out. Weather is not good and money is tight but he “ordered” for me to dress the kids at the last minute. We live up here in the mountain (well not really that remote as you think) and going downtown means spending a lot on taxi fare so we agreed to ride a jeepney. One time Eman and I went to deliver Ms. Alex Hao’s order of cloth diapers. I had the camera with me and while we were inside the taxi, I attempted to take a photo of the jeepney’s thinking I might use it in my blog someday. That afternoon, traffic is nearly bad near the Ateneo de Davao Highschool Campus and you can’t believe I never had one single photo of that thing. What I am trying to impose is that they are really FAST and FURIOUS!
Here is a jeepney……. Read more… »
We are spending the night here at my sister Crislyn’s apartment because tomorrow will be Eman’s day at his pedia’s clinic. We don’t have a plan to get him checked this soon because his VCUG came out fine and the only issue is his excessive sweating on the head and his very unpleasant odor of poop and gas that each time he passes it at a public place, I need to let people hear “Umutot ka baby?” so they won’t suspect that I don’t have a breeding. Oh well I hope they believe me that Eman did it and not me. LOL The reason why we are bringing him tomorrow to see Dr. Lobo is because I am suspecting he has thrush. He has all the symptoms of it and it bothers me so much. This can’t wait until we get our pay because the white spots have spread on the roof of his mouth. Had noticed it last Monday morning while we were in Kabacan. He has white creamy lesions on his lips and when I checked further inside, I say three small white spots on the roof of his mouth. Now it got worst and I was hoping we could get paid today. Sadly we didn’t and so is my sister Crislyn. Glad that I have this check that was paid to me by Ms. Alex for the cloth diapers. I was out of my mind when she asked if I wanted it to be cross checked. I said yes. Then I remember I should have not let her put lines on it because my bank is in Victoria Plaza, farthest mall from our place. But she is so good to agree to me bringing the check back to his husband’s store tomorrow. See….God really provides. I wish Eman will get well soon. Another ordeal for our little man.
Guess what I found? A great site that makes business cards online! I am excited to have mine printed for my little business. I actually made a sample of what it looks like and was trying to post it here but it says Windows does not recognize the file. It is a simple card with a thread and needle on the left side and all my information on the right. Can’t believe they charge only minimal amount which I find a great deal compare to the business card I ordered two years ago. But before I can make my business card printed out, I should get a business name first so I am now thinking of a name that would make a great impact and will register well in one’s mind. I was thinking about naming it Needles and Threads but Donald suggested I’d name it after the kids. Any suggestions from you guys are very much welcome.
New and improved cloth diapers

I am making cloth diaper again. Not just for Eman but for all the moms and babies around there who wish to experience the magic of cloth diapering. Been going back and forth downtown to get some fabric and I just wish I have the funds to stock up since stores used to carry only one roll of fabric each color (that I learned from the fabric cutter) and if I would need the same fabric, I might not get it again until the supplier will replenish their stock. For the printed fabric, he said they are not having the same print again when the one roll was gone.Since the fabric I chose to use are pretty much expensive than before and since I am on a limited budget, I must be very careful to chose colors that might not be hard to find. I have some printed ones and I will put it as Limited Edition.
My cloth diapers is absolutely more absorbent and stylish that my first batch so I am pretty thrilled to start my little business. Here’s my New Improved cloth diaper in solid yellow outer lining and powder blue inner lining.
So we bought the last pack of disposables and will be exclusively cloth diapering Eman when I am done making a dozen for him. I gave everything away what I have sewn for him in newborn and small sizes. I made him a medium but I guess he’s already large. I already have put up my online store in multiply and have talked to some friends to help me start making a name. I will obliged my sister Crislyn to blog about it. I also made Ate Arlene agree to gossip about it too in her blogs. So nice of her. I have also posted my handmade burp pads and receiving blankies in my online store and already got some orders which I am thrilled to death. Guess who ordered? My online friends from the US. Look at what Facebook can do! Then I am also exchanging emails with Ms. Alex Hao, founder of Mommysense Davao (a group of breastfeeding mommies). I wanted to become a member and along with our conversation, I asked her some tips on how to promote my cloth diapers. Guess what? She wanted to buy a sample in newborn size for her to show as demo in her birthing class!!!! She also asked for a quote for a dozen diapers for her son! I don’t know if this is something you will be thrilled about…but to me it is.
