Birthday Galore

So it’y our brat sister’s birthday. Cheche is in our hometown and from what my cousin has said in our chat earlier they are in my aunt’s house, Mamang Emy, pigging out on rice noodles, barbecue and ice cream.

Also, my sister Crislyn celebrated her birthday last June 30 and I was so bad for not blogging about it. I was swamped with sewing that time but here’s for her…..

Now I am my motto is “Better Late Than Never”. LOL I am really bad at updating my blog yet I was up until almost 3am. I might need acnepril if I can’t go back to my sleep routine when I just gave birth to Eman.

Celebrating Mamang’s birthday

At 10pm, the house is quite. It is very surprising after nights of playing with Eman until almost 1 in the morning. I hope he won’t wake up ’cause I wanted to do so much things online. Got to give life to my two other blogs and make another multiply account for my jewelries. I think it’s time to go full swing with jewelry business because it is much easier to make than the cloth diapers and baby slings. I am preparing for the time when Donald gets hired and I will be left alone with Eman at home. Surely I cannot sew anymore like I used to. Although I will still make cloth diapers and baby slings, I can only do it when he’s asleep for he will get his hands on my scissors and needles for sure. If God will bless Donald with a job outside the home, I wish we can find a small place to rent that can be turned into a shop (with a nice window for my stuffs and maybe a barcode scanner like the Symbol LS2208….I know it’s far from possible! LOL) for my crafts somewhere near Ella’s school. I am just thinking of some ideas what to do so sending and fetching Ella to school will not be hard for me.

Anyway, it’s my mom’s birthday today and we celebrated it with just pansit canton fixed by my sister Crislyn. We bought some bread and went to my Manong Joey and Manang Inday’s house for a midnight snack and some chat. The couple served some drinks to go with it. The best way to celebrate is with family even how little the food is. My sister and I are both broke, maybe we can buy a nice cake and cook spaghetti when we get paid next week. As usual the little guy amused the crowd with his stunts….marching like a soldier when he hear us count and dancing in circles when he hear her Tita sing. He is such a little darling. He also spent a good amount of energy chasing her big sister through chairs and table that made both of them sleep as soon as we arrived home.

It’s raining…what a relaxing night to kick back and watch movie. Well, that is what Donald is doing right now but I can’t join him. I’d rather be in front of the computer than the tube.

Today should have been my Mom’s 60th birthday and if she was still with us, it could have been a grand celebration because it will also be a celebration of her retirement as public school teacher. Great celebration with lots of food (that many will complain about badly needing to loose weight and me telling them to check Clinicallix reviews). Anyhoo, Mamang Eling has already rested and her suffering has ended. We do missed her a lot and it’s sad that she never met Eman but knowing that we will meet again someday is such a comfort. Happy birthday Mamang Eling! ‘Til we meet again!

Ella’s 7th birthday

At long last I have blogged about Eman’s 1st birthday. Now I can write about Ella’s birthday. Our Princess turned seven last June 2 and she was very happy. The day after her birthday, she started counting the days before her next birthday and she does that EVERY YEAR. LOL I told Ella that for her birthday we will go to the mall, buy her toys and eat out. No party this year and I tried to mean it. Since we have birthday gifts that she was wishing for, I was thinking she will be happy with it. She was okay with the idea but she had nightmares every night. She was crying and shouting in her sleep, a sign that there is something that was bothering her. Since she made it to SPED and since she never insisted to have a party, Donald and I thought to give it a go and give her the party she deserved even when our resources is very limited.

Just want to say….

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my dear Daddy!!!!!! He will be visiting us next week and we are all excited cause my sister Crislyn and BIL are moving near in our place. They have a yard and they sure can use Daddy’s help in putting up a fence so the dogs can stay out. Our wooden gate needs some fixing too. :D If only he can build a house or something close to steel buildings, we won’t have any problem with our own house. hehehehehe

I know, I know I am sooooooo behind in blogging about what’s going on with our life. I already said that in my post a week ago and believe me…I am feeling so guilty about not being able to write even a short post. Sorry guys, I am swamped with orders here and there but I am not complaining. I am actually really grateful because it is helping us to keep afloat after the amoebiasis with dehydration incident of our little guy few weeks ago, his birthday and the move. Well, I have not written about it yet…..Julie, I promise to write a long post about these happenings flooded with photos. ;-)

My mother’s grandbabies

Early morning when no one in the house has taken a bath yet, they stayed longer in bed staring at a large picture frame.

Ella found my mother’s picture and for days she kept it close to her.

Fussy baby in the house

I am so full. We had shrimps, crabs and lechon (roasted pig) for dinner. The neighbor invited us to her son’s birthday and she saw me sewing surrounded with a huge mess. So she said she will just bring food for us but wanting Ella to go there for some games. In just a few moments food was delivered by their househelp and Donald’s eyes are sparkling. hehehehehe. Thankies neighbor! Forgot her name because I seldom go out of the house. ;-)

I am working on an order from a doctor based in Mandaluyong and it’s feeding time again for the little guy. I decided to blog a bit so I wouldn’t be catching up about many things going on here. I do not know if Eman is cutting his second tooth but I guess he is. He was very fussy yesterday. He is down with colds and have some episodes of slight fever. We went out yesterday to do some delivery and that helped a lot in easing his pain. Read the rest of this entry »

Three, four and five

It’s the first time we have not put Eman in his hammock and he’s not so happy with it. We got him a crib mobile this morning so he can easily adjust. He’s been taking naps on his hammock and it sure does feel a lot different than in a crib that’s stationary. In the afternoon he slept there without problem but he went crying so loudly like he’s been pricked my a pin on the butt tonight. :-( Am glad he’s already sleeping so soundly in there. When Ella went home from school this noon she saw the mobile that hasn’t been set yet. She was smiling and talked to her little brother about the beautiful surprise he’ll get. There’s no way I will assemble it without a clear instruction in the box….I am afraid I might break it so Donald went back to the store to ask the saleslady to assemble it for us. So when it’s all set, we tried it and Eman was just as happy as the big sister. I never heard her complain about not getting anything which she usually does. But of course we also bought her a hoola hoop that’s she’s asking for a long time. We got it for around $1.5. She has been very patient in waiting for us to get her one and she deserves it for the number of times she got perfect score in their quizzes. While Eman was inside the crib, she was standing beside it like she’s wanting to get in there too. I can tell it by the look of her eyes and I kept telling Donald (in English so she won’t understand LOL) about it. Donald got what I meant so he stood and lifted her inside the crib. She was really thrilled and couldn’t believe she’s shared it with Eman. :-)

Has been raining since 5pm this afternoon. We were at a birthday party of one of the brethren’s son. I could still recall we were also there last year which is just like yesterday. We were three then and now we are four. I just hope we won’t be five next year. Not yet. LOL

It was 20 years and 1 day ago, my Mom celebrated her 40th birthday. That was July 13, 1989. The next day, July 14, 1989 she gave birth to a cry baby whom we named Cheche. I was feeling very guilty for not being able to make a post last night…….but as I always say “Better Late Than Never”…

To the most loving Mom, Mom-in-law and grandmom in the world.

We are happy for you that you now have a job. I think that is the best birthday gift one can get. Do good and don’t forget to treat us with your first salary. hahahaha!
