A quite long day

There are so much stuffs going on here, the reason for the lack of updates. And if you are following my blog, you know that if I miss blogging in one day or two….I might as well be missing the rest of the week. I hate it when my blogging momentum is suddenly disrupted because I had a very hard time trying to get my brain to write something about what happened the past days. Maybe you noticed I am not writing long posts now as I do not have the time and I do not want to bore ya all with stories from the jungle.

So where did I stopped? Oh the email of Cecilia. After reading it a bazillion times, I still couldn’t get her point and so I just guessed what she was trying to say and I am lucky that I got it right. :-) I was too exhausted that day because we woke up very early to get two kids ready. While Donald and I did some last minute preparation for our long day, these two had a great time together.

In her uniform

Photobucket

.

Proudly wearing her new uniform. The daddy was as excited as her to see her daughter wear this to school as soon as we got it from the seamstress. Honestly, this was the very reason why I chose Trento West Central Elementary School. The uniform is not the usual green skirt and white blouse of the public schools here. When I was in elementary, our skirt was royal blue then it was changed to maroon. Here in this province they have green. All are not very pleasant to me. Glad that at Ella’s school they also offer better curriculum and programs aside from having the best public school uniform I’ve seen. So it’s a double plus. :-)

Buhay Trento

Cinderella: Cebuano Version

I finally got hold of my fabric and spent most of the on my cloth diaper project. I was too excited that I let Donald check if the package has arrived from Davao so after dropping Ella to school, he went straight to LBC. He said their reason of not being able to deliver it yesterday is valid because their courier van goes straight to San Franscisco, a one hour drive past here, bringing all the packages that are supposed to be dropped here. I don’t get the point of wasting gas driving past here and bringing the packages back. Anyway, I am happy that I can continue making diapers for Emmanuel yet I really could not understand why I always get short with it when I have carefully measured the length that I needed putting a half meter allowance. It happened again! I am such a moron. :-( So instead of whining, I make use of the scraps again. Read the rest of this entry »

I am not going home yet

Our day started early (or should I say it ended late yesterday?) because we are still wide awake at 3am. Donald couldn’t sleep so we chatted for a while and he decided to watch a James Bond movie in the laptop which he found so boring. I, on the other hand, tries to catch sleep by tossing and turning. Everything doesn’t seem to work so I just waited for my eyes to just close by itself which happened at nearly 5am. It was drizzling and gloomy the entire day. I wanted to go out and buy the fabric that I needed to sew a couple of receiving blankets but like thhe previous days, I don’t feel like going out. I plan to do it tomorrow morning but just tonight, we got a message that we will be leaving for Trento tomorrow at 4am. :-( Just when I already had in mind that we are still spending our 6th wedding anniversary on Sunday here in Davao. On moving (again????)

I was looking forward for today to be such a busy day for me. I already sorted all the baby clothes and stuffs that needs to be washed and folded to be ready in case the baby will decide for an early appearance. I wasn’t expecting nor hoping for a premature delivery, but I just want to be ready. Like my sister and BIL who are moving this weekend, Donald and I are also playing some wild idea on moving back to my hometown when Ella’s classes ends. That will be this March and we are crossing our fingers that we can make it as early as possible before I gave birth which will be on the 1st week of April.  That’s just a plan, not yet final and so we are not disclosing this to Tatang and Inang or any other members of the church yet. The coconut nut

Since I am feeling so grumpy every morning, Donald let me stay in bed when it’s time for Ella to prepare for school. Although I was already awake, staying in bed and not moving around much helped a lot. I heard them have their usual battle of the will from eating breakfast until Ella went in the room to kiss me goodbye. She wouldn’t forget to kiss me and hug me a couple of times before leaving which her Daddy find so funny because it’s like we won’t be able to see each other again. Read the rest of this entry »

Beware: VERY LONG POST

I was hoping I could make this post as short as possible so as not to bore you all. The only thing that could make it possible would be to let pictures talk, so here goes my post about our 10 day vacation to Davao and Kabacan. ;-)

We left Trento at 11am last October 27. Donald was dreaming about boarding the King Long bus but we are not so lucky. Read the rest of this entry »
