Looks like I am hooked on taking photos of Ella’s baby pictures! Crazy huh? Well, if most of you are printing the photos you have taken with your digital cameras, I am doing otherwise. I want all Ella’s pictures be uploaded in the computer for easy blogging and digiscrapping purposes. I discovered that it’s a lot easier to do it this way than to use the scanner. (Later you will know why). The only problem is I was so dumb to have cut the photos around the edges. I do have that kind of disorder…of cutting edges and turning a photo into hearts, circles and nameless shapes. Well I learned that I have this disorder (Julie, name that disorder….I know you have this too. *lol*) when I was still a kid back when I had cut every picture and turned my magnetic album into a scrapbook. I had no idea about the word “CROP” in photo enhancement and it’s just like an innate thing to get a pair of scissors and shape my pictures. I was in 6th grade then and I never heard anything from my mother which left me wondering if she’s proud of me or what.
Ella is back home. It was her first time to go with someone not a family member and honestly I was very nervous. I haven’t blogged yet about this young couple who really adore her. The first time I heard about the wife is when Ella brought home a couple of papaya fruits a few days after we moved in here. She said it was from the neighbor named Irene. I come to know her by what Manang Inday has told be about, that she is nice and that her husband is working abroad. Then a few weeks ago Ella brought home a Tupperware filled with fruit salad. She proudly announced she helped Irene prepare it. Read more… »
BARBIE ISLAND PRINCESS ROSELLA KARAOKE STYLING HEAD
Our regular visitors hadn’t showed up so we spent the entire day staring at each other.
EDITED:
They came at 10pm while I just finished writing the first sentence and was uploading some photos during our trip to my hometown. Since there was no interesting thing happened today (except that Eman still had fever from his shots which is not interesting at all), I decided to make a “photo post” about my grandfather’s funeral and other happenings after. After Cheche had some sort of “drama” the other night that it feels as though she did not graduate from college because I and my sister Crislyn hadn’t blogged about it, we both promised her that we will make a post about it.
Today is my expected date of delivery and had Eman waited for this day to come out, Cheche could have been the star of my blog the day she graduated. Unfortunately, Eman decided to make an early appearance and stole the spotlight from her.
Anyways, it’s always better to be late than never writing a post at all so ladies and gentlemen…..I am proud to announce that our youngest sister Cheche has finally finished her degree in Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management at Joji Ilagan Career Center Foundation Inc. ACTUALLY is one of the words that amuse me lately. Ella was doing good in learning to speak English and three nights ago, when I was telling her to come up in bed she made me and Donald burst in laughter. “ACTUALLY, ‘di pa ako inaantok.” (Actually, I am not sleepy yet.) And she pronounced the word pretty well. I asked her where on earth did she get that word and she answered, “Galing kay Rabbit.” (It’s from Rabbit.) Yeah, Rabbit. The keritz lover in Winnie the Pooh movies. She’s really learning. ![]()

NOW SHOWING…BLACK EYED ELLA
I was meaning to post a blog yesterday about this but I was called early for a back up on OHJ so I only got a few seconds to post….only the title  It is Now Showing
I was waiting for them to call me on graveyard shift but the queue is low so I slept. I never had good sleep for days now. Yesterday was the Semi-Annual Fellowship and we are the host congregation. There are 5 congregations from other towns. It was a very busy day for all and I just helped a little in the kitchen ‘cos I was called for back up on OHJ an hour before lunch. I never had the chance to step inside the chapel. I can hear them sing and Donald’s voice is the most heard as he was the emcee.
From Arlene.
1. Copy and paste everything to a new post and Add your name next to your profession (or profession-to-be for undergrads) in the list. Make sure your name is linked to your blog/webbie.
Tip: For easier capture of links, paste into your blog using the “Visual” (for WP) and Compose (for Blogger) modes (not Edit HMTL or HTML).
2. If your profession is not in the list then simply add it to the correct alphabetical place. For example, if you want to add PLUMBER then it should be placed in between ONCOLOGIST and QUEEN.
3. Tag as many people as you can and witness how your technorati will explode!
4. Don’t forget to link back. In your case, link back to Arlene.
