my life, my family, my dreams, my hopes and fantasies

Baby Taz

So it’s Sunday once again. The day went pretty well until this little girl in my Sunday School class decided it’s time to make Teacher Carol go real mad. She’s a kid from the neighborhood and I am actually happy that her mother who is not a member, allowed her and her older sister to attend my class. Each Sunday, this three year old girl would always get her hands on everything that she sees on Ella’s study table. Of course this upsets Ella so much because she’s just so paranoid now that something will be broken, destroyed, torn or would be gone missing. I always tell her to be patient and just talk to the kid nicely that she shouldn’t be touching her things and so this is what Ella does and it pleased me. She also could not sit still but would roam around and would be coming in and out of the house. This distracts the other kids. If she is sitting, she would kick or do anything to make the kid beside her (which is usually her cousin same as her age) cry. Read more… »

Did I not mention that we have been into managing a local restaurant in my hometown in Kabacan, Cotabato that serves different dishes of African Catfish? That’s after my mother died in 2006 and after venturing different homebased businesses. I was studying Medical Transcription then and the father of one of my clasmates approached me and Donald if we could manage their dying business. He have seen us sell different stuffs and that is what made him want to make us as their partner. Since we are just relying on making and selling homemade peanut butter at that time and my father’s small investment in celphone cards has failed, we decided to accept the offer to sustain our needs.

I took this photo with my phone camera of Ella’s Barbies and Disney Princess doll exactly one year ago.

Stress management

Stress management is something I would want to work on or should I say something that I SHOULD work on. When we are still living in the city, I always fail each time I try to ignore my stressors and I really hate it. I really had a hard time living normally. You know the feeling of extreme anxiety, unable to eat and sleep, could not even think right and it just pulls me in the dark pit. I just want to lie in bed day in and day out and would just sulk. I was so skinny then like a walking cadaver. Read more… »

Unbeliebalol

Nah, I am not speaking in tongues nor was I not talking about prescription medicines (i.e. Paracetamol, atenolol etc)….But that’s Ella’s new word in her growing vocabulary.

UNBELIEBALOL - adj. beyond belief, unconvincing, implausible, inconceivable, unthinkable, incredible, farfetched, unimaginable, impossible, astonishing, astounding, staggering, preposterous.

Yes, you got it. UNBELIEVABLE that is.

She’s been very serious in learning the language of the “white people” (that’s what she said) and everyday that the Lord has made, she watch Magic English and follows all-the-word-that-mickey-mouse-says. Now we have a half-baked American girl in the house. :-) How did Teddy Bear and other bears (who came from US and are full-blooded American) understand her own English language and vocabulary, I had no idea. :???: Read more… »

Since my sister and BIL purchased their DSLR camera, they have been going crazy over it. They have just purchased their third lense (I guess) but there is no problem with that since they don’t have a child of their own. Let them baby their camera. ;-) Donald has been asking me if I wanted one like it and I said NAH! That was when I was not yet pregnant with baby #2, now that I am my answer would be NAAAAAAH!!!!!  I am settled with our Sony DSCW80 and if I would ever need to have better portrait of my Ella and the baby, I will just borrow it or let my sister take the pictures. ;-) Although it is so much fun to join their group (don’t know the name….all I know is that ALL member are crazy over their cameras too) and learn techniques on photography, we cannot afford it and it would be of no use here in the province. Camera Critters #35

Camera Critters

Photobucket

This is one of the “grass cutter/lawn mower” at the farm of my in-laws. This snobbish cow is as snobbish as her calf. Ella can’t get near them even for a photo opp. I say she is just one of the many because there’s a herd of goats which help her cut the grasses.

Fast and easy business loans

We are all looking forward to the day when our economy will heal from the world crisis but some didn’t know that it has just began. One analyst said it would crash in 2010 and this is horrible especially to those who are running a business. Many banks are closing and declaring bankruptcy which lead to panic among depositors. While everyone is in panic about their hard earned money, entrepreneurs are getting a hard time keeping the business afloat. We’ve been there too when we are still running a micro business and that time our economy isn’t this bad yet we are constantly needing back-up capital to keep our doors open for our valued customers. Issues on breastfeeding

I got to read a post from Julie’s blog months ago about her issues on breastfeeding with her four adorable kids and how do people react on why she doesn’t breastfeed. We are actually on the same boat when Ella was still a baby. I tried breastfeeding her but my milk supply isn’t sufficient not to mention my inverted nipple on my right breast. I had no idea if the trauma on my Uncle’s death has something to do with it too and the food that I ate when I was still pregnant. Like her, I do get some negative reactions from my MIL (who breastfed her four children). It’s annoying how people judge you. But when we went to their farm last weekend, I think she has changed her perspective because here’s what I saw. Read more… »

Grrrrrr…….

Today has been such a boring day for me because of the lack of opps. :-( Or have I just gotten used to the past days when I was able to grab the maximum opps per day? Donald sat infront of the pc doing nonsense thing when he saw a green one and I told him to grab it fast. But as lame as he is and believing that he knows all about grabbing opps, he didn’t listen to me when I told him to quickly answer the captcha question. He even pretended counting from his fingers the answer of it (trying all his might to look funny) and it irritates me so much because when he finally key in the answer, it was already taken. Was I to blame if I was mad? Heler! Pera na sana, naging bato pa. Read more… »
