It’s so tiring whenever a customer asks how much the price of the ukay and you have to answer them a million times. No we’re not like malls that they have barcodes and barcode scanners on their system. I wish we have one on our store so that there will be no more queries from our beloved customers and a hassle free from us.

I was like a kid trying to play with his cars and chopper who always gets shooed. He doesn’t want me to borrow them so I could take decent photos. We have to work on that attitude that she has learned from big people.

Facebook was flooded and is still flooding with updates talking about ANDREW since yesterday. Andrew is the name who advertises on blogs. Kaye is very generous to share the blessings and I am happy I am one of those whom she gave the info. I was silently reading each updates and comments of my fellow bloggers on Facebook and silently wishing my blog has not lost it PR2. But hey I am still thankful from 0, it went one notch higher. One more notch and I am back to PR2. That would give my blog a chance to get Andrew’s attention. Oh how I wish I have more blogs. I know I have neglected this for months since we opened the ukay-ukay business. I was not able to blog because the computer was at the store. One of the goal that I believe the HARDEST to achieve is to gain weight. To some it is the opposite but believe me, I eat more than Donald do but bulges where art thou????? I don’t eat breakfast but I have morning snack before lunch or sometimes I have brunch. Then I will have another snack in the afternoon before dinner and another snack after. Yesterday was an exception because I had morning snack, lunch…then I ate rice for my afternoon snack and had two dinners and Krispy Kreme donut for midnight snack. I was thinking if my metabolism is that fast, then I should sleep more and work less to gain weight. What will they call me then? Baboy? If only I can just sleep and eat just to gain weight and not worry about finances and the kids I have done that long ago. Read more… »

I am hoping I won’t be needing anti-wrinkle cream as soon as I hit 40 but I guess I will because as early as now (I am 29) I see some fine lines. I wonder what is the beauty regimen of the mother-in-law of Donald’s older sister. She has a face that looks way way younger than her age. I have been telling myself I will be one of the young-looking grandma when Ella and Eman have their own kids but how can I achieve that if as early as now I got lines? I guess I will just have to laugh a lot because I am certainly not turning to anti-wrinkle creams since they are expensive and I am just so lazy to use one but for those who is willing to spend money on it and are not as lazy as me, you can try it of course! Ella is dying to have boots and I am not hearing her at this moment. I do not know how she has come to get into that craze. Maybe she saw some kids at school wearing them and so she was convincing me that the next school shoes she will have is a pair of boots. I have not said yes yet because hey she is my child and I know very well that she cannot stand wearing closed shoes for longer period of time. She complains of feeling so hot and would rather wear her Dora Crocs from her Tita Lyn-Lyn. But lately I noticed she is learning to sacrifice just for the sake of fab! She asked for a pair of pink sneakers last Christmas, she got it and wear it for a whole day without complaint. Maybe she can really carry a pair of boots then. Read more… »

Are you a Stay-At-Home-Mom or a Work-At-Home-Mom who wanted to go back to University but has only very limited time? Then enrolling to one of the online degree programs is what’s best for you. I was considering that idea before but was too adamant to try. That was way back in 1998. We do not have a personal computer yet at that time so I have to go to an internet cafe for my class and opening a page will take a light year because internet connection was very slow. So that would mean paying a very large sum for just a small accomplishment for a day. Not to mention the constant power outage there. Then there was this neighbor who complained about his online studies. He told me it is easier to go to a formal class than do it online because you cannot ask your instructor. Well in my opinion, you may not be able to personally ask but you have all the time to research online thus it is called online study. Now that we have a very stable and fast internet connection here in the city, I wanted to try it. I wanted to take up business management course (one of their online degree programs) or if I can find a veterinary course so I can finish it then that would be awesome.

I woke up with pain on my left hip. I was wondering what could be the cause until I realized it’s the mattress. When the rainwater soaked our large mattress, we used two small mattresses. It was positioned not parallel with our body and each time somebody moves, the mattress moves too. Now I got aching left hip because it held all my weight while sleeping.
