Looking back the days when you were still single, how would you differentiate your life now? How do you keep up with your busy schedule every day?
Well in my case, I married early. I was 21 then. At that time, I was still in college taking up my second course. I shifted from Veterinary Medicine in my hometown to Communication Arts here in Davao. Since I was new to the place, my life then was boring and I feel like I wanted to go home. Then here comes Donald. He invited me for a casual meet-up at McDonald’s. Read more… »

I just woke up from deep slumber.
I didn’t notice it’s already 11am because it’s raining and it feels like it’s 6am. The family went to Matina Town Square for a midnight bazaar. We were not there to shop, we were there to sell. It was fun and we got a good sales although we wished it was something bigger. But we were happy anyway because we still made a sales even the weather is bad. The bazaar is from 7pm to 12midnight during Fridays and Saturdays. We were the earliest birds for two days. We wanted to be the first to get a good parking space just near the tent. Eman and Ella had so much fun roaming around. We brought Eman’s trike and he did make a good use of it…to the point of abusing it. LOL Read more… »

I wanted to join bazaars. I was always invited by the President of The Caraga Hearts (an association of exporters in Caraga region) and most of the time I need not pay any single peso for the registration fee but one thing that kept me from saying yes is the limited resources. I have some materials here but they are for baby slings and cloth diapers. It would be nicer if I have separate materials for my pouches, tote bags, laptop sleeves, bag organizers and bag hangers. If I was thankful God put me in this part of the Earth because of snow, I wish I was in the country with snow when we are needing additional working capital. Read more… »

It’s raining since last night and I am loving it! Business is slow when weather is like this but I am happy God is washing this part of the Earth because it was too hot the past couple of days. I love the temperature but my hip joint would start hurting if it will be colder. God really knows that when I turn 18, I would get my hip injured that is why He didn’t put me in a place with four season. I could not really tolerate the very low temperature. Maybe inside the house where there is a heater but I certainly would be limping when I am out in the snow.
If we ever found ourselves in a place with winter season I am sure Donald and the kids would spend the entire day playing in the snow. Read more… »

Mommy Ruby has launched a Thanksgiving Giveaway and I am joining. Yay! I am not really lucky on contests and draws but this one is very enticing since one of the mechanics is to write the things that happened last year that I am thankful for. There are a lot of them but I just have not gotten around to blog about it before the year ended. Now I finally had the chance to write about it because I am joining.
I am thankful for a very wonderful New Year’s celebration at Paradise Island with Daddy, my siblings and BIL last January 2010. Read more… »

Last month Donald craved for Bulalo. He went around the Mintal market but there was no bulalo. No bulalo in this part of the city? We can get them without sweat in Kabacan. My aunt serves them in his carenderia and the town is lined with eateries that serves this beef bone marrow soup. We ended up going downtown just to satisfy Donald’s craving (and us too). There is a place that serves the best bulalo I have ever tasted, the Bulca Chong.

I have no reason now to be lazy in writing a post….not just a post but a “decent post”. I have missed blogging about what is going around especially about the kids. The computer is in the store and I find it soooooo hard to go there just to blog.
So I sweet talked Donald to bring home it home. The store is just across the street so we can still connect to our internet using a router and a wireless adapter. Wow! I didn’t realize I missed getting online! I need this here since I am staying at home most of the time trying to sew more baby slings and diapers. I am constantly looking for ideas over the internet too for the latest fab like bag organizers. So I am into making my own bag organizers and bags. Then I will try to make bag hangers and anything with my stash of fabric and notions. Read more… »

Yesterday the distributor of Tupperware came to the store for a demo. Well we are quite happy and proud that she personally came to meet my guests. The purpose is to teach me and Donald how to organize a party as a part of grooming us to be managers.
I think I am not ready yet but Donald said he is. LOL One thing that I am impressed about her is that she looks much younger than her age. She laughs and smiles a lot and that keep forehead wrinkles from showing. I have to ask her what is her secret for being happy always so I will not age fast too.

As I have mentioned many times, I am going to try to be a good blogger. Someone that writes decent posts regularly. But as you can see, I have been so bad in keeping my word. Now I won’t promise ever again. I have tons of things to write about…A-G-A-I-N…that includes our new place. Yes you guessed it right. We moved the 12th (if I am not mistaken) time since Donald and I married. Our place is smaller than the previous house we stayed. I don’t know if I can call it a house but one thing I am certain is that it is a HOME. Stuffs are not 100% organized yet and I can feel that I have lost some precious pounds again by carrying boxes up to the very steep ladder. Well, to Donald it is a good work out. Better than working out on a pull up station. In a a few weeks I am sure he’ll fit in his shirts again. LOL

We are already in BER months which means wet season has started. Time to pack and store summer things and take your kamik rain boots out. Heavy rain has just ended tonight. Donald went out to buy some bread for our midnight snacks and glad he has huge rain coat. Now that he got a job, I think he would need a rain boots and I know where to get the best one.
