Caroleen’s Treasures

We got a great news the other day and it is Ella’s SPED entrance exam result. She made it!!! We were in the hospital when she has to take the test. Donald and her drove almost an hour from the hospital to the school just to take the test. There are three SPED (Special Education) Schools in Davao and she will be going to Tugbok SPED school. This will be a great savings for us because we cannot just put her on a regular class in public schools. Public schools are not the same like when I went there during Elementary years. Well, there are people telling us public and private schools are the same and it is on the child. Well, they are the people who don’t know what they are talking about. We only have two choices. Send her to SPED or the private school near here and we are so happy and proud that she made it to SPED. No monthly tuition fees and such. We only have to pay for books and a minimal enrollment fee and around $75 for the books. I want to save more so I need to know if we can buy buy the books somewhere. Most schools buy and sell textbooks at a higher price and I hope the school will allow us to buy it ourselves.
