Heading to the water still on diaper

I am such a good procrastinator and I have proved that for the nth time. I need to read about pulse oximeter, I need to sew, I need to paint…and the list goes on. I have the materials I needed to make new stuffs that I will be adding to my cloth diaper and baby sling business yet my body won’t cooperate to touch them. I actually did start on a diaper cum laptop bag last Friday night and it’s Tuesday already yet I have not sewn the straps yet. I blame all these to my monthly period. All I wanted to do is to sit and stare at the huge box of fabric. I have only slight menstrual cramps, just enough to keep me wanting to snuggle in bed all day. I just made an excuse that I can’t work with all the clutter in the other room. How I wish we live in a bigger house or I have a storage for all the stuffs. I told Donald I wanted to buy a hut made of bamboo that will be my work area. We still don’t have the money for it but we went to the maker of huts near Mintal. One 6×6 hut is sold for 11,500. Not bad but also not good.

Then Donald suggested we check the maker of huts in Toril area and so we went home first to get our helmets and packed Ella’s swimsuit, Eman’s extra clothes and towels. Since it is near the beach, we secretly agreed to let the kids have a dip in the water. The price in Toril is the same as in Mintal so if we will get one, I think I want it from Mintal. Their design of their huts is much more sophisticated. :D

Before we went home, we proceeded to Gulf View Resort. It is not the resort you would want to swim but kids could care less as long as it is a beach. Donald and I prefer white sand beaches because it looks cleaner. :-)

Ella had a blast and so was Eman. I have proven again that unplanned outings are better and more successful than the well planned ones. While Ella was challenging the waves, Eman was showing off that he can stand without support longer than before. I guess the longest now is half a minute. He also ate sand again. So the picture of us heading down the water was to wash his face and take off the sand in his mouth. ick. The waves get bigger and bigger and I thought about the tsunami alert. :-D We just stayed there for less than an hour because it was getting dark and the nimbus cloud in the direction where we are heading was sooooooo huge and sooooooo dark. The heavy down pour started when we were halfway home. All the shed along the road were packed with people taking shelter from the heavy rain. Donald, Ella and I were soaked while Eman was safely tucked in the sling with towels. He had his jammies, jacket and socks on and he didn’t get wet even a little spot. Can I call it miracle?

That looks like so much fun! Right now our beaches are COLD and WINDY with lots of rain! *lol* … We do have a camping trip planned for the end of May, and we’re hoping it doesn’t rain all week… But we’ll be bringing warm clothes with us. *lol*
