Last February 8 was our 7th wedding anniversary and that day we had the worst meal.

Daddy, who is in Pagadian City, sent an sms greetings early in the morning. Donald was surprised he still remembers it. Well of course he does because he was the mastermind of our wedding date. LOL Daddy is not Chinese but he suggested it should be on the 8th or any date that the bottom does not points downward (like 1, 4, 7 and 9). :-D

There in so specific plan for that day but Ella wanted it to be special by making a greeting card for me and Donald. We went to SM and did our usual walk around the ground floor and checked for a good deal at the second floor. Good thing I didn’t find anything worth buying because I have no plans in spending for anything but food that day. Then we passed by this new section at the second floor that really bothered Ella.

Donald and I sat on the desk and signed some papers. She asked what was it and I told her it’s the adoption paper. You should have seen her face went white when I told her the ladies will choose between her and Eman. But we were in the Community Tax Issuance desk at the back of this Adoption Help Desk getting our cedulas. Donald needs it for his driver’s license application and mine for business name application.

I think she was scared and was very silent until we saw this giant Crocs on our way to the Food Court. That brought her back to her old senses.

We all have different preference (except Eman) where to eat and so we agreed to try a new place – IGLOO. We have not been there but we always see the place each time we were at the Food Court. We went in and settled on our seats noisily. You know how Ella’s voice could get so loud when the place is quite like restaurants and banks. When the lady handed each of us a menu, She pointed on something and said “Mommy ito ang akin….chocolate parfait.” Whoa! I was so surprised of the price but I was more surprised that she read it right and with confidence. :-D So as a reward, she got chocolate parfait.

Ella and her CHO-CO-LEYT PAR-FEYT

But before that was served, Ella and I had pasta, Donald had Palabok while Eman had chicken mami noodles. One thing that I can say is, we were not happy with the food and we are definitely not going back there anymore. :-( The pasta tasted sour. At first I thought it’s Italian pasta but it is not! We didn’t finish our servings because it taste like it was about to go bad. Donald didn’t finish his meal too while he described Eman’s noodles as something that taste like “socks”. And not only socks….but socks that were hidden inside the shoes for ages. :-( But I think Ella enjoyed her Chocolate parfait and she shared it with Donald and Eman. Another thing is they don’t have a high chair so Donald ended up as human high chair. He was holding the little guy while feeding him and himself. LOL

And the glasses will make you forget you needed a drink. I ordered two Pepsi in can for me and Ella while Donald wanted water. Funny how Donald how he changed his mind and ordered himself a Pepsi after he saw the glass. We are not happy with the food, the place and the service. I saw a branch at GMall which looks better than at SM but I will not spend any single peso on them ever again.Pwamis!

Anyhoo, we are still happy that we were able to spend time together outside the house. It’s like yesterday that we go to the mall with just one kid in tow. Now we have a little guy that loves to eat too. He eats what we eat and he is now cutting his 7th tooth at 10 months and 2 weeks old. :-)
