Why do chores are not so much fun to do? And we can’t go on with everyday life without doing them? Laundry is piling up again and again but am thinking about sewing a dress for Ella instead. Well she has grown taller (can they stop growing for a while?) and all but one dress fits her nicely. I don’t want her wearing jeans to church and buying new dress is not a priority this time. I have this maternity dress that I really love.
I have no decent photo in this dress so here’s a somewhat acceptable one during the Buntis Party last March 8, 2009. What I love in this dress aside from the print and the cut is the neckline and the accent buttons.
If I am not breastfeeding, I can wear it to church since the cut is not that of the old traditional maternity dresses that looks like pillow cases. The preggy fats are not so evident with this cut and you can still wear it after giving birth (only if you are not breastfeeding or you are using breastpump). This is loose on me now. I have shed some pounds after 9 months. I am grateful breastfeeding really helped me shed those extra pounds ‘cos I don’t think I can take safe weight loss pills even it’s the safest. When I was contemplating on making a little dress out of it, I was thinking about the print. Will Ella look like a tiny pregnant but after I have seen a Disney Princess girl’s dress in this print, I have to give it a go. I hope I can turn this to a nice girl’s Sunday dress. Wish me luck!

That should be “it” … not “is”… Oy! *lol*

Thanks Julie! Now that gave me confidence.
