Miyaki’s gravesite

While Eman was busy peeping like a puppy in the window, Ella has her own concerns too. Taking care of Miyaki’s gravesite.

When Miyaki died the other day, she announced it to all the kids in the neighborhood and they come in groups to visit her grave.

I wasn’t surprised when she started working on the gravesite because she buries everything. Her chick, her fish…..

She put flowers and a headstone. Don’t dare to argue, she said it’s a headstone.

And today while we are chatting with Manang Inday, she and some of her friends made a cross.

I don’t know if I will smile or cry. She carefully wrote: The died Miyaki. Oh yeah, the name of the dead dog buried is Miyaki right? Then next thing I saw when I went out tonight was this….

It both made me happy and sad. I missed Miyaki’s playful mood. Her energy is unwavering. She loves to jump and run stationary like she’s running on a treadmill (she’s on a leash). Goodnight Miyaki!
