When I die I wanted to leave a legacy, not material things but emotional legacy that is. That is why no matter how hard life was when Ella was still little, I made it a point to take as much pictures as I can. A thing that my mother wanted but what my MIL detested. For her it is just a waste of money but for my mom it is keeping memories and I agree to my mom of course.
Keeping those keepsake are very important to me. They should be safe from fire, water and theft. I am planning to get an account to this site that offers great care and storage of your treasured stuffs. I don’t care how much it costs. I was using sites for safe keeping of our pictures like Facebook but this is just the safest online safe box for me.
Collecting memorabilia is like living on your dreams, passing emotional wealth and it is leaving a will beyond all legalities and bequeathing of material goods. This has been what I was doing for years now, to take photos of my children, but as some of you know there has been some points that we didn’t have our camera with us. I am sad that there was even a part of Ella’s toddler hood that I missed capturing special moments because our analogue camera broke. I was the happiest when Donald decided to get a digital camera although I was hesitant at first because of money issues. Now that our camera is just a grab away, I feel so lucky that every milestone of the kids can be captured and stored for them to cherish when they are older.
