At last I was able to explore farther in the back of the house. I can’t say it’s our backyard since our yard ends a few feet from the kitchen’s doorstep. hehehehe. I know there is a river down that cliff near the house but I never had the guts to go down there. When the kids woke up from their afternoon nap (and Donald was still snoring), I let them wear their pajamas and grabbed the camera so we can see even a bit of it.
There is the house, the second yellow house from right. Because of the tree covering part of the house, I can’t get a good view so I decided now is the chance to get a glimpse up close.
This is what we see from the house. We can actually see Talicud Island and part of the Davao Gulf from the kitchen when the sky is clear so we are really up in the mountain.
I let her stand with a good distance from the edge of the cliff. As you can see the banana leaves are just on our ankle level so we are really near the edge and down there is the river. I wish we can go there someday. I love the rustling sound of the water. So relaxing! But grasses and trees are covering the view below so I will just go back alone (if I can).
I was holding Eman and he keeps on grabbing the camera. So I decided to put him down so I can also take photos of him.
I had to call him several times just to get him look at the camera but he was so focused on a straw that he has managed to pull.
And as expected, he had his first taste of the grass. So he knew by now why goats love those green things. Yummy!
So sweet and juicy!
And like what all the goats do after grazing……
He wanted to sleep right then and there. hahahahaha!
For the record, there was no children’s rights was violated during this event. We are just purely having fun and my son never actually ate grass. He just tasted it. My son is not a goat.
