Caroleen’s Treasures

I dreaded this day to come because it is Eman’s immunization day again. We woke up earlier than usual. Got Ella ready for school and after they left, I started preparing for this day. Eman woke up in a very sunny disposition…….he has been told over and over for the past days that today he’ll get another couple of painful shots but he somehow forgot that that day is today.

We arrived there a few minutes before 8am and there were already mothers and babies. The last time, we were the very first to arrive but we were not the first to be called……so I was thinking last night that we could don’t need to hurry since it all depends on your luck. If your record will can easily be found among the folders filed in three boxes, then you are lucky. Today we have luck since we didn’t wait long for our turn.

Poor Eman. He cried but it’s not as bad as he did the last time we were there. He even managed to smile in between the two shots. And the best part is that he didn’t fuss. He was still the same bubbly little man who loves to talk and play.

In the afternoon, I had fun taking snaps of Ella before she goes back to school for their afternoon class.

That is what she’s bringing to school each day. Of course the trolley bag is heavy so Donald pulls or carries it for her. Anyway, drugs related crimes are always on the news and I am getting so paranoid. Drug addicts should be in drug rehab
or in jail. Because of the crimes, I even don’t want to go out or even leave the doors unlocked even in broad daylight. Maybe if drug rehab have the best amenities like that of hotels, then drug addicts surely will be volunteering to get in.
