I am back! 
We thought we will suffer one more night of total darkness. Glad that ASELCO was able to do the repairs quicker and so the power was back on at around 5ish.
For 32 hours of no fan, no internet, no water, no light, ……we felt we are in Mars. 
Cheche who is used to city life, was telling us that we live far from civilization over and over again and that it’s so lonely here. We are asking her to stay longer so I could work overtime to beat the deadline. Glad that she agreed but my worry is that it’s my sister Crislyn’s birthday tomorrow. I was thinking she might be needed there but we are talking via YM now and I hope she will agree.
We found out that having no electricity has brought something good. We have spent two dinners with Ate Beth and Kuya David in their place. We went there yesterday afternoon just to kill the time and to show Cheche around but we ended up staying for dinner (with invitation of course) . We also discussed work related matters for the newly approved projects. Then again this afternoon we went back there for a chat and you guessed it right, we were also invited for dinner so we stayed until 8pm talking about personal matters this time. If we do have electricity, we could have not gone there and bonded with them.
Hello there! Before I go for a forced hiatus, I might as well blog a little. Much to my desire to do a blog marathon about what we are up to these past days, I can’t do that because ASELCO declared a 48 hours power interruption for their maintenance blah blah blah. 
I hate it when we do not have electricity because we also don’t have water here. I already filled every basin and buckets I could find here but I know it won’t last until the electricity will be back on. Cheche is here with us and I hope she will stay longer so we don’t be bored to death. Donald was convincing her long before to stay here even for a week or two.
Without electricity, we can’t work. We can’t blog and we can’t play!!!!! grrrrr……..I started planting on my farm last night and since I knew about this black out, I choose to plant wheat because it will be three days before I will harvest my crops. Just in time when we have electricity. Okay, have to end it here or I won’t be able to publish it.
And oh by the way, Eman is THREE months today! Oh where did the time go?
There are so much stuffs going on here, the reason for the lack of updates. And if you are following my blog, you know that if I miss blogging in one day or two….I might as well be missing the rest of the week. I hate it when my blogging momentum is suddenly disrupted because I had a very hard time trying to get my brain to write something about what happened the past days. Maybe you noticed I am not writing long posts now as I do not have the time and I do not want to bore ya all with stories from the jungle.
So where did I stopped? Oh the email of Cecilia. After reading it a bazillion times, I still couldn’t get her point and so I just guessed what she was trying to say and I am lucky that I got it right. I was too exhausted that day because we woke up very early to get two kids ready. While Donald and I did some last minute preparation for our long day, these two had a great time together.

Today’s been a long day for me and tomorrow will be much longer I guess. I worked on an assignment that was emailed to me with a subject URGENT and if I do not want to be fired, I should be quick in sending the output. But anyway, I did it after 5 hours and now I wanted to sleep but I need to post something for this special day.
Tomorrow, we will be going to Salvacion, a baranggay of Trento where the big project that I have mentioned before will take place. It is a mining, logging and reforestation project. Since the funder from Holland already approved the project, I think I can blog about it even just a brief overview. We will be going to Salvacion with him tomorrow so we need to be up early because even if he is not an American, he is still white and I believe all whites have the same virtue of being on time in every appointment they have. If American has what we call “American time”, probably there’s also a “Dutch time”. So see you all tomorrow!

Proudly wearing her new uniform. The daddy was as excited as her to see her daughter wear this to school as soon as we got it from the seamstress. Honestly, this was the very reason why I chose Trento West Central Elementary School. The uniform is not the usual green skirt and white blouse of the public schools here. When I was in elementary, our skirt was royal blue then it was changed to maroon. Here in this province they have green. All are not very pleasant to me. Glad that at Ella’s school they also offer better curriculum and programs aside from having the best public school uniform I’ve seen. So it’s a double plus.
Hello world! Maybe you are thinking what I’ve been up to why I haven’t been online for a couple of days. No I am not drowned with online tasks. It is all because my ever efficient ISP gave me wonderful reason to be in hiatus. :furious: Thank you Smart Bro for letting us experience walking to the internet cafe at 8pm with Eman in my arms (not just holding him but feeding him as well). We lost internet connection Wednesday night and thank goodness it is already back just this morning after 9 calls (or so) to their hotline and wasting over $5 just to get online. :tired:
Good that we have Smart Bro prepid broadband kit. At least, that made us feel we are still a part of this world but I am not so happy with it because we spent so much for the load but never accomplished anything at all. Who would be happy if the internet connection was just a little faster than a turtle trying to cross the street and if only not because of the nice?
I have so much to blog about but I am not yet in my best mood as I am feeling burnt out from dealing with Smart Bro’s very poor service. Hope to write a nicer post tonight.

I Played with his hair this morning
Other than me feeling groggy this morning and Eman being fussy in the afternoon, everything went well around here. I woke up feeding Eman. Had no idea how I managed that while asleep. I do have bad days like this when I couldn’t even move my body. I feel a tingling sensation all over my body like I had cramps when I try to move. Might be due to the lack of sleep from working until midnight. Donald did all the mommy job this morning. He fed, dressed and brought Ella to school while I continued feeding Eman. I have dosed off again and when I woke up at 10am, Eman has already take a bath and was already napping in his hammock. T’was the second time Donald gave him a bath. He knew I could drop Eman off the floor if I try to do it myself so he just let me rest. Thanks Partz! I think I need to do some research on the internet what is it. I experienced waking up feeling numb on the other arm and when I tried moving it….it went in circles and I couldn’t control it. I was also awaken by Donald’s knock before and next thing I knew I was on the floor. I stumbled twice before reaching the door. Read more… »
