Our day started much earlier today. It wasn’t 8am yet when we headed out the door to the health center for Eman’s immunization and Ella’s tutorial class. It was gloomy and it drizzled the whole day. I wanted to be early because there were too many mommies and babies last week and we were the first to arrive. I and Eman waited outside while Donald brought Ella to school for her tutorial class that should start at 8am too. She was pretty much excited because she really wanted to learn. I made a deal to her that once she pass the entrance test for SPED class, we will throw her a birthday party. But then Donald and I are talking about making her repeat Kinder 2 if she wanted. I have asked her more than a couple times and her answer is always no. She was even so confident when we are on our way home, telling us that she can now read well and that she can make it to the 1st grade. Read more… »

I have been slacking again in my blogging lately and I really hate it. There are some stuffs that I wanted to write but I can’t seem to squeeze it in my daily schedule right now. I remember I promised to write about our reunion in my PIL’s farm, our latest trip back to my hometown during my grandfather’s wake, the reunion after the funeral, our short stay at Manang Inday’s house before going back here and the most important of all is Eman’s birth story. These past month I can’t stay up until midnight so my stories are neglected. I am so bad but I will try to write as much as I can. Read more… »
Eman is becoming more and more like human. I know he is 100% human since birth but I am talking about how well he interacts with people. He listens when you talk and he could now be cooed. His smile could blow away all the worries in the world. Now I know why there are many babies being born each minute even life is hard……because baby’s smile could make them forget about problems……and when the baby grows, another baby is born in the family to replace the smile.
Just sharing this beautiful smile of our little man taken yesterday at 1 month and 12 days old. Thisis also to say “Hello Papang Lakay!”
Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful moms in the world!
Thank you to my cousins, nephew and friends who greeted me today. Sorry guys I haven’t sent a reply because our cellphone has no minutes but I will see if I can send Donald to the store to load some minutes.
As I was starting to write a post about our day, Ella who is sitting on his study table next to the desktop sweetly greeted me a happy mother’s day. Read more… »
The day started just fine. Eman had his usual early bath and after setting him up for his morning nap, I started to wash the pre-soaked whites. I went out yesterday to do a little grocery shopping which is consisted mainly of laundry powder and fabric softener because I so wanted to to the laundry today. Since I don’t have any excuse now (Eman was already out in the world), I did the washing but Donald helped me with hanging in the clothesline because he knew I really really hate that job. It was already half past twelve when we had our lunch. Ella was always busy on her art works lately and she always ask me to buy her art pieces. I told her to keep them all and I will pay her on her birthday. Eman just slept the rest of the morning and I am glad he has outgrown the attitude of eating more than twelve times in 24 hours. Now I can do some chores and sit in the computer without holding him to nurse but he sure does showing some attitude! He would whine when he can’t get his sleep and if you can’t tell what he is crying for (if he’s hungry, wet or just wanted to get held), you would be as crazy as the daddy. Read more… »
Yesterday was a day to remember. Early morning we all prepared for Eman’s immunization at the public health center. When Ella was still a baby, Donald was always there with each visit to the clinic so to be fair, he needs to be there for Eman too.
Since we don’t leave Ella to the care of the neighbors, she went with us holding the diaper bag for me. When we got there, there were too many mothers and babies on queue in three different lines. Since it’s our first time at the center, I have to ask for the procedure. It is so much faster in Kabacan because there weren’t too many babies there during Ella’s time and I am also privileged because I personally knew the midwives.

Yesterday was Eman’s first visit at the park. He was not so pleased watching us enjoy the bags of chips and Sprite that I bought at the nearby grocery store.
At last we had a somewhat decent family picture.
Thanks to my cousin’s daughter, Dimple, for taking this photo. This was taken at their place where we stayed for a couple of nights before going home.
