Nothing interesting happened today but one thing frustrates me and that is my breast (I must say TWO things…the left and the right) Eman had two bottles of two ounces each tonight because he isn’t contented with what he gets. He wets his diapers 6 to 8 times a day and poops 4 to 6 times a day which is a sign that he gets enough milk but he still would cry. I’d check if he’s wet and for whatever is causing his fussiness and when I put my cheek near the side of his mouth, he would attempt to suck it. I eat like a pig and drink like a camel that one would think I badly need an appetite suppressant….how could I not have lots of milk? Glad we had two big cans of Enfamil Lipil here but I told Donald we will give him bottle if he is asleep so he would not know it’s a bottle. I tried expressing milk tonight using the pump but it hurts so bad so I tried it using my bare hand and Lord knows how much I tried and tried to get only less than a quarter of a teaspoon. I have just fed him for more than 10 minutes on both breasts before I did the pumping that might be the reason why I got only a few drops….or maybe I need more practice in pumping because Eman shows good sign of sucking. He pauses after sucking and that means he gulps down a mouthful of milk that is what I have read in the internet. Hope there will be improvement tomorrow.
