So it’s HUGE!

Our day went quite fine. The sun gave us all the sunshine we wanted. After Ella left for VBS this morning, Eman had a few minutes of sun bathe before his daily bath. I hope weather will still be the same tomorrow as he needs to get exposed to sunshine everyday and the laundry needs to get done. Donald said he’ll do it today but the sun had already set and the laundry were left untouched. I hope I can do it myself because the whites needs some magic (i.e. vinegar and baking soda) but they say I still can’t do heavy chores after giving birth. Someone please tell me WHEN can I do the usual chores?

The weather was fine but the electric and internet bill made my head ache a little bit. I know we still have money to pay the internet so I asked Donald to pay it before it will be disconnected but guys from the electric company came calling by the gate. They were here to cut the electricity because the bills for the month of February and March were not settled yet. Talk about bad timing. The treasurer isn’t here in town yet and Inang was still on the way from the youth fellowship they attended. All the while we thought they already paid it and we will just give them our share of the bill when we get here from the city but we were wrong. The neighbor who tapped electricity here is not good in remembering the due date and is always waiting for us to remind her. So using some brain, we paid P1,600 just to keep our lights and water on (and the neighbors too). What is the use of paying the internet when you don’t have power? :-( I felt some relief when the guys left but the question was….how about the internet??????

It wasn’t long when we got a text message stating:

Urgent from SMART: To date no payment was received on your account. Your service may be disconnected anytime. Pls call 5112890 immediately. Thank you.

They really mean what they say so I sent Donald to call the number to ask for a little extension. The little blog money I transferred from paypal to my bank account will be cleared by Wednesday or probably Thursday and until then we won’t be able to settle it. So Donald went out to find a telephone but NO ONE answers the call! He waited for 10 minutes there and kept on redialing but SMART people seem to be very busy. :-( Why would they give us a number to call when there would be nobody to receive it? Oh well…. I am just glad that my sister in Davao helped us settle it. We asked Crislyn to loan us money and Cheche went out to pay the bill without complaint. Salamat!

On the lighter note, Ate Pinky (Tatang and Inang’s second daughter) arrived from Canada and she’s here with the rest of Tatang’s family to visit the chapel and us. :-) Her Canadian husband will also arrive next week to spend a 10-days vacation. Too bad he has a work, they didn’t have the luxury of time to go on island hopping or go on cruises. Ella was very proud to show her little bro. She gave a bottle of perfume and a HUGE chocolate bar which you have seen at the top of this post. I could not find a ruler to measure it but see that is almost as long as the keyboard.

We feasted on it after a sumptuous dinner of “tinolang manok” and it was really dark, really creamy and oh so good! It was my first time to see such huge chocolate bar and the first time someone gave us one. If the bills made my head hurt a bit, I hope this won’t trigger migraine attack.
