I though I won’t be able to post tonight because I was feeling sore all over and has slight fever when I woke up from my afternoon nap. Ella and I also had diarrhea that made it worst. Maybe it was the peanut that Donald bought in Montevista. I was craving for it while the bus was still in Panabo but he just mustered his strength to get off the bus and go buy a couple of packs when we got to Montevista. Ella came knocking on the door while I was still using the comfort room and from the sound of it, she’s having some stomach upset which was true. They had no class today but she went to school to attend their folk dance rehearsal. She’s one of the girls who will perform and she’s very excited about it. In the middle of the practice, she started feeling like going to the bathroom. When Donald came to fetch her, the parents and the teacher said she was complaining of stomach pain. If there is one thing that she liked having stomach pain is that she was carried home by her Daddy.
We had power interruption after lunch and it went on until almost dinner. Glad that it wasn’t that humid because I was saved from fanning Ella while she napped. Donald was still sleeping when I started feeling really sore all over. I woke him up and asked him for a body massage which he willingly did without complaint.
But still the bizarre feeling is still killing me so I asked him to call Nanay Delia. She is not certified midwife but she assists on childbirth and is known for her soothing massage. Mothers are more comfortable when giving birth with her so she’s been brought along the health centers and hospitals as far as Davao. After an hour of whole body massage, I feel better and was just so glad that I was able to sit in front of the pc and blog. I wanted to make up for the lost time in blogging while we are in Davao and I was hoping I could make daily posts until I give birth.
Of before I forgot, Ella was able to ride her new bike today. Donald brought out the old one and let the little boy (he was actually the same age as Ella but he is so small) ride it. Since the boy didn’t know how to ride a bike, Donald put the training wheels back so he could enjoy too. They went to the seamstress who sew the dress that they will going to wear for their folk dance presentation. Ella was really really happy that she will perform in front of many people and when I tried the dress on her, she started dancing. Donald pretended he is her partner. It was her first to attend the rehearsal and I think she’s doing great.
