The waiting is finally over and today she was pretty thrilled for being able to wear toga.
The ceremony started at 8am and lasted two hours which is good because kids can be very impatient.
But you could see in their eyes the excitement and pride that they were called “graduates” and even threw their caps up in the air.
That one up close was Ella’s cap.
In the afternoon was the Recognition Ceremony and Ella amazed me and Donald at how well she did in their folk dance presentation.
Gino’s mom told me that Gino wouldn’t sing infront without the videoke machine so their duet was cancelled and we quickly changed Ella’s dress for the awarding of ribbons. She was one proud girl for her awards.
She got most generous, most helpful and most neat and clean.
We are proud of her too for receiving such awards. She asked her teacher why she got no honors and the teacher giggled saying, “May mga absent ka kasi….” (It’s because you have absences…). Yes, she has many absences from her class each time we come to Davao for my monthly check ups. Poor Ella. Hopefully she could get perfect attendance next school year. Or even almost perfect is good enough so she could be in the honor roll. Nonetheless, our princess is very happy and she won’t even let us remove the ribbons from her dress when we got home. She wanted to show those to her tita’s but I was able to convince her to remove it from her dress and I’ll just put it in the bag.
The ceremony was not yet over but we have to leave because we still have to prepare some stuff for our trip to Davao. We did it quickly and at 5pm we are already at the bus terminal waiting for the King Long bus. The ride from Trento to here is not very comfortable for us but we are so happy to arrive safely and it was a surprise to see our cousins and their kids here. I shall check on Slimquick Cleanse reviews that I could need to burn this fats I gained. More updates tomorrow. See yah!
