Caroleen’s Treasures

It was a long day yesterday. Our cousin and her whole family was here at my sister’s and BIL’s apartment since Saturday to attend the graduation rites of her husband (Manong Nolan) who finished his master’s degree and their daughter (Mgel) in her bachelor’s degree in UIC (University of Immaculate Conception). We are already up at half past 3 in the morning. My sister Crislyn was tagged along as one of the escorts of Manong Nolan and they left the apartment when the dawn was still breaking while Cheche, Donald and I went back to sleep right after they are gone. Just after noon time they were already here and we had lunch together then we all prepared to go to the resort to spent the night. My uncle, Papang Alfred, was there also and we are glad to see him. He’s been very ill with diabetes and other complications. Ella was so happy that she was able to swim again and enjoy the company of relatives. I was feeling so tired so hot since the other day so I joined the kids in the water and at 7pm, we were back in the cottage for dinner. The food is good and we had great time talking. Crislyn and BIL went home while Cheche and us stayed overnight. I had difficulty getting to the bathroom and was having contractions the whole time. Thankfully I finally dozed off after hours of trying to sleep.

This morning when I woke up, some of them are already in the beach swimming. Although Ella and I had not enough sleep, she wasn’t hard to wake up. She hurriedly wore her swim suit and ran to the beach. After a  couple of hours swimming and playing, we all went back to the cottage and I slept again while they roam around the place. We left the resort at about 11am and after a little rest, we went to see my OB. She talks fast butI really like her. My blood pressure is 100/70 and I am 3cm dilated. She gave me instructions in preparation for the upcoming delivery of the baby which will be sooner. It may be in a day or two (probably three) instead of the 6th of April.  If I won’t go into real labor on Saturday, I should get admitted in the hospital to prevent infections since I am already dilated. So don’t wonder if I sound like I am out of my mind on this post. I feel so tired and wanting to sleep in the most comfy bed in San Diego California hotel. I have too much thoughts to write but I feel like I wanted to rest. Hope I could still make a decent post tomorrow.
