Because I haven’t blogged while we were in Davao, I need to make a series of posts about our vacation. I know when I give birth, my memory won’t be that reliable as it was 6 years ago. So for record purposes, on the 26th of December I got my laptop. Yey!!! Aside from computer chair cushion, potholder and bamboo ladle and bamboo turner that Ella carefully wrapped for me, I also got this.
(No to mention the wonderful pressies I got from Uncle Tony and Auntie Carmen and from my sister Crislyn and BIL). I don’t dream of having one and I still couldn’t believe until now that I have one. Donald and I went out early that day even it was raining because he was more excited than me. We bought it from Columbia Computer Center where we got our desktop. We feel comfortable getting my lappy there because Uncle Tony and Auntie Carmen personally knew the manager. In case there would be some problems later, we could get accommodated faster and get better service.
I made it clear that this laptop is just for blogging. No games. No music. Donald and Ella are in protest until now because they thought they could have the desktop for themselves when I will have a laptop. I said it is purely for blogging when I am away from home like when we have some short trips to the city. Packing the desktop so I could blog there is such a pain in the neck for Donald. The next time we’ll be there, there’ll be no more boxes of CPU, keyboard and monitor to bring. Just a diaper bag and a new baby. 
Yes, it’s one of our preparation in meeting Miguel Emmanuel (we already have a name 
). We couldn’t manage bringing so much stuff so having a laptop is a huge help.
