Look! A new theme!
I don’t know what got into me. All I know is that Donald has been bugging me for days about what theme would look great on his blog. Since I haven’t installed FTP (file transfer protocol), he asked my sister Crislyn to help him out but there was some problems on her end too. I tried copy pasting the code from my my own files of themes but it didn’t work. Then I found this brown theme that looks appealing to me so why not try it? I decided to change theme for just for a day or two. (Although I am hoping I could find a theme that would be forever) Oh yes, he’s been writing on his own blog. Such a jealous guy!
He said he wanted to have one because he’s jealous that I have a social life.
Interacting with fellow bloggers is a social life for him since we live here in Mars. But I know the real reason behind it was he wanted to have a blog so he could also post some embarassing photos of me like I did to him HERE. Anyway, I just gave in to his wants because I am afraid he might loose his sanity.
So I will be delivering the baby in two months and I hope the baby won’t decide to make an early appearance. If we could make it to the city next month, I could complete the baby stuffs that are needed. Although I am as excited as my two companions here to see Emmanuel, I am also wishing I could wear my maternity clothes longer so I won’t feel guilty about buying it and just put it away unless Donald could convince me to have a third baby. When I discovered I am pregnant, I vowed I am not buying any maternity clothes because they are so expensive and will be worn only for a few months. When I had Ella, I bought a couple dresses from the mall and some pairs in ukay-ukay that I only wore when I was in third trimester because I have a small bulge then. I gave away all the ukay-ukay and kept the couple dresses. I thought that was enough but I was wrong. I ended up buying again because the other one was torn by r-a-t-s.
With my second pregnancy, I showed up too early which lead me to shop again. Read more… »
Hi! Been off from blogging for a short while but it looks as though I’ve been on hiatus for weeks. As much as I wanted to blog, I couldn’t brought my rear on the computer chair. After ranting about my sore arm, my days are spent dosing on an off in bed like I’ve just came home from climbing the peak of Mt. Everest. Thank goodness I was able to gather little strength today that I went out of the house to do some yard work. After one hour outside, I went back lying in bed for 2 hours.
Then took a shower and just in time that I got dressed, the wife of our church treasurer came by for a surprise visit to bring us a bag of chico (Sapodilla-one of my favorite fruit and my mother’s as well) and bananas.
Since she’s as chatty as I am, we spent the rest of the afternoon chatting until she remember she have to go home to prepare dinner for her FIL and son.
Donald, Ella and I went out with her to make sure she could safely get a ride home since it was pretty dark in here and our place is known for notorious residents.
We have a plan to do some food shopping today but I guess there would be no one between Donald and I who will be willing to go out. It was drizzling so we will probably spend the morning just staring at each other. Ella watched a craft sement for kids on TV early this morning and she’s now busy making her own craft. Geez, I wish people could be more sensitive here….I loathe people who come by the house so early in the morning (at that very moment I only have just closed my eyes after hours and hours of trying to sleep) just to borrow money.
I hope next time they’ll come when we are already up and about because we are nocturnal people here. Read more… »
Have to show you how happy our little girl when she arrived from school.
After our wedding rings died (that is one was literally broken in half and the other wasn’t in decent shape) we planned to get a new pair. I wouldn’t be ashamed to admit ours were one of the cheapest you could find in the store that you wouldn’t think about getting it repaired (‘cos you might pay more on the repair than the value of it). The day I wore purple nail polish
Posted on 2009 under Ella, Uncategorized, treasured moments | 2 Comments22 Jan
So I finally made it to the clinic this morning with purple toenails. That was an achievement to me (not on the purple nail polish) because even I already set my mind on getting up early, I still find it sooooo hard to do it. I did my nails last night and since Ella has been putting me into account each time she sees me painting my nails as to why I am still not wearing the purple nail polish she gave to me on my birthday, I decided it was time to show her that I am true to my words that I really love the darn color she picked. I should have cared less if it was a darker plum but it wasn’t and it looks as though they were candies on my feet. But anyway, I gave it a go and I am loving it now and the most important of all is that Ella was so happy about it.

Was Obama’s inaugural address hit me bulls eye that I stayed until 5am? He said we should all work hard and so I blogged until the wee hours…..but no, I doubt if it was just the sole reason. I guess the blue mountain has something to do with it. I lost money and so I blogged to compensate for it. Even Donald was bit disappointed when he read about it here and told me I could have just kept it myself so he wouldn’t know. Then he was teasing me that it could buy 3 gallons of ice cream.
Maybe he was right that I should have kept my mouth shut but hey, there’s no one I could vent to when I found out that I am $15 poorer and so I blogged about it with high hopes that blue mountain could read it and refund my hard earned money.
Just kidding. I am not expecting for a refund but honestly I am not yet through with my sentiments over that $15. It’s enough that I have learned my lesson and so now I am into collecting all the email addresses I could so I could start using my one year blue mountain subscription. ![]()

After witnessing the 44th US President Barack Obama’s inaugural address, all I could say is that he is such a good speaker. I wasn’t bored at all. It was full of inspiration and it was very well addressed. He just doesn’t talked about the America and its people but the whole world especially the poor nations. Donald and I applauded after his speech. You could see that people of different colors are gathered in a very cold morning to become a part of this historic event. Many are waving balloons and their obamainagurationsigns which are directly ordered from the factory. It was a 19 minutes speech and how I wish it was longer. I was waiting too for Charice Pempengco to sing on stage but I was a bit disappointed that the media has mistakenly reported (or it could be the people?) that she will be on the inauguration program when in fact it was the pre-inaugural ball that she sang two songs and received a standing ovation from the crowd. Even so, I am still proud of Charice and I am very happy too that at least I could say I have been a part of the historic event (even when we just watched it on TV).
