Caroleen’s Treasures

I love thinking about our upcoming reunion at my Mother’s side in my hometown. Got to see half of the clan and spend days just eating, chatting, singing and maybe we could go swimming at the nearest resort. But there’s a big BUT because Hannah, a cousin on my father’s side, did ask me if we could attend the reunion on the 30th in Pagadian City. Donald and I are pretty disappointed that it’s too far but the bigger issue here is money. My sisters might agree to go if we only have enough resources. We could go there before the 30th (probably 26th) and after the reunion we would all leave to get in time for my mother’s side reunion on the 31st December until 1st of January. How I wish we could attend both. There would certainly be a lot of fun by then and a lot of stuff to bring back home too. Donald would be frowning again I know because I am planning to bring all of my photo albums, some books and stuffs that we could use here. Been thinking also to squeeze in my medals in the box since Ella loves playing with it and it reminds me of yesteryears too. Then “again” I will do some cleaning in our room there to get rid of some stuffs and my trophies which have been an eye sore. If only they were Pinewood derby trophies I would difinitely treasure those but mine are cheapos and have accumulated dust and rust over time.
