Nah, I am not speaking in tongues nor was I not talking about prescription medicines (i.e. Paracetamol, atenolol etc)….But that’s Ella’s new word in her growing vocabulary.
UNBELIEBALOL – adj. beyond belief, unconvincing, implausible, inconceivable, unthinkable, incredible, farfetched, unimaginable, impossible, astonishing, astounding, staggering, preposterous.
Yes, you got it. UNBELIEVABLE that is.
She’s been very serious in learning the language of the “white people” (that’s what she said) and everyday that the Lord has made, she watch Magic English and follows all-the-word-that-mickey-mouse-says. Now we have a half-baked American girl in the house.
How did Teddy Bear and other bears (who came from US and are full-blooded American) understand her own English language and vocabulary, I had no idea.
Anyways, I woke up so early to make up for the lost $$ yesterday and am so glad I was able to grab some today. Donald has been making up for the lost $$ too since yesterday by spending time alone with his soul pulling weeds in the backyard without me nagging begging to get his hands on it. He almost finished the entire yard and he feels so proud that he has accomplished something. How I wish he would upset me each day with lost opps so he could do as much chores as he can without fuss.
In between writing opps and blog hopping, I repaired a maternity dress that was given by my cousin. It was too big for me and I looked like wearing an empty 50kgs. sack of chicken feeds.
I have yet to make Barbie dresses and gowns which would be a lot of work since it’s too tiny. Glad Ella forgot to rant about it.
While Ella takes a nap and Donald was still in the backyard, I decided to go to the market to buy something for Ella’s Christmas Party on Monday. Donald said their exchange gifts would be food/goodies and they would bring their own meal too.
I ranted as much as Ella did. She’s been asking me why her teacher is different from her former teacher in the city because she wanted just food and why can’t they give toys as a gift. I will be cooking spaghetti and buttered chicken for her meal during the party (maybe I could also make caramel popcorn for everyone) because I am dying to eat spaghetti again. For her gift, I put in lollipops, chocolates, candies, choco wafer rolls, some jelly ace, muffins and Goldilocks polvoron. I also dropped inside the gift bag a box of crayons and a blue bear key bag chain because I just don’t feel right to be just giving goodies as a Christmas gift. I actually made two gift bags so Ella could have the other one. Last year I bought two large board books for their party and I wrapped the other one for her too. Maybe because when I was small, I always give the best gift that I can afford yet I am always disappointed by what I get. It’s always a handkerchief with a small comb inside a box of mosquito coil.
But I know it’s wrong to feel that way about the gift I receive but that’s just the kid in me and Ella might have gotten that trait. But she’s actually very appreciative of what she gets during her birthdays and holiday seasons. Only that she was jealous when my SIL’s handed her and her cousins their gifts when we were there at the farm because everyone got three gifts while she got two. I just said hers is more expensive than what others got. She was so snobbish and would not talk to anyone. She never cried but you could see her disappointment because MIL has said to her (while they voice chat several days before we went to the farm) that she will get three gifts. I think my SIL’s actually wrapped three gifts for her but Donald’s aunt was there with her two daughters (a 6 years old and a 1 year and 10 months old) and they might have given the other gift to one of the girls that was supposed to be hers. I had no problem with that because Donald’s aunt has been so nice to us and I always buy something for her daughter each time we go there. Life is hard for her at the farm and could not afford nice stuffs. You know how Ella could store tons of informations on her tiny brain and when you say three, it should be three.
But dealing the issue all be herself, she’s back in her old self again and was always chattering. She even promised that when she has plenty of money, she’ll buy clothes, shoes and toys for the two girls.

I don’t think our schools ever did gift exchanges when I was a kid… At least I don’t remember ever doing it. *lol* … Sounds nice though. You made a nice gift basket.
