What’s with the horses?

I don’t know what’s with the horses that kids would really go oohhh and aahhhs when they see one and would beg, really really beg to ride it. Ella has been dying to have a ride and when I told her that I once experienced it when I was 7 when we went for a vacation at Daddy’s hometown, she’s asking me when she could go there too. When we went to my FIL’s little farm in Bukidnon almost two weeks ago, she saw a brown horse grazing beyond the farm’s fence and she was itching to go near it. If the owner was in sight, I could have asked if Ella could get a short ride just so she would stop ranting about it. Then I remember the Gap farm in Davao City. We’ve been there when Ella was turning two and I ‘ve seen they offer horse back riding to the public. Read more… »

Each time she remembers to practice the foreign language, these two are the most tortured among the crowd.

On faith

Been wondering why I seem to have this aura of writing about chat rooms when I don’t chat with other people except somebody from the family circle? Don’t ask me because I don’t know either. Just kidding! Well, my head is spinning and I wanted to hit my pillow so bad but I needed to stay up for one reason…moolah. :-) While I was writing my posts about several chat rooms, I was wondering if there’s a place where wholesome people meet and not talk about girls and boys but of their faith and the word of God. It was my first to join heads or tails and I hope it’s an excuse that I was one day late on posting this. ;-)

The new generation

In the olden times, penpals was such a hit. Imagine waiting for a month or so for the letter to arrive through snailmail and it wasn’t convenient at all in terms of the cost of stamps yet there are still many people were still so much into it. There are even several persons I know who married their penpals abroad. The aunt of our neighbor in our hometown married his Australian penpal while Donald’s cousin married his penpal from the US of A. Now, with the new generation and new technology…emails and chat rooms became very popular. Read more… »

This suppose to be my laundry day but God decided to wash this part of the earth so the laundry should wait until the sun will show up. Hopefully that will be tomorrow.

The other day, Donald came home from the market with the news that there were lots of lights and decors at the stalls and at the park. So yesterday, he brought Ella there who gets very excited with these stuffs and went home telling me that I should see it too. They had the camera with them and Donald was able to take shots of Ella and the different Christmas trees and nativity scenes. She’s into alien guys

Been wondering lately how my friend Windy is doing. When I see women dressed in fancy and colorful attire, I am always reminded of her. We’ve been classmates when we were in 5th grade, went on separate ways after that same school year then bumped into each other when I enrolled in Medical Transcription course almost three years ago. Of course I was in total disbelief when I saw her again. The different Windy. Not the brown, shy little girl in 5th grade but a bubbly, outgoing and so into fashion lady. I was shocked that she drinks and smoke too! Although I won’t really dare wearing those high heeled colorful shoes, wide belts and dangling earrings….it does looked so nice on her. Read more… »

I woke up late today after an afternoon of yard work yesterday. Donald has been clearing the backyard for days and I am actually so happy that he’s in the mood to do it. I think he’s really taking it seriously, like he said…he wanted to discipline himself. He’s not much of a worker in the yard but you could really count on him with the cooking, doing the dishes, straightening the house, taking care of Ella especially when she’s still a baby and helping me with the laundry. I could not blame him because he grew up in the city with a smaller yard and not much of these wild grasses that grows so fast like my feet. Read more… »

Chat rooms

Ever since we moved here in the province, I had no problems dealing with homesickness because I could chat with my sisters and cousins. Only that our cheapo webcam needs replacement because they cannot appreciate that we got fairer skin here. They would really wonder why the soap that I bought from a cousin showed some wonderful effect on our skin yet we have probably the most icky water around the archipelago. Wohoo! When we do get a better webcam, I could also chat with my online friends abroad without them asking over and over again why there’s a lot of mosquitoes on the screen. Read more… »
