Caroleen’s Treasures

I am planning to make a long post about our trip but I got sidetracked with grabbing opps and got hooked playing Farm Mania in the computer the whole day. Then in the evening, we had a service at the wake of one of the members who died last Sunday. Ella was well behaved when we got there, jsut sitting beside me until she noticed that there was only one flower beside the coffin that she started getting so uneasy wanting to get outside to gather some fresh flowers for the dead.

Even when we arrived here at past 1am from our trip, Ella still managed to go to school (and she was not late!) because I promised her that we will work on the Underwater Mold and Paint Craft Kit that she received last Sunday during the family reunion. My SIL’s wrapped gifts for their nephews and niece as a late birthday present and an early Christmas present. Her Tita Kitkit (Donald’s older sister) gave her the craft kit while her Tita Dovie wrapped a dressing doll playset. She already played with the doll set but I asked her to wait until we got home to start on the craft kit because there would be mixing, drying and painting.

When she got home from school, we started right away. I have to supervise her especially with the mixing of plaster powder and moulding of the different sea creatures because it says in the instruction and because I am jealous of it. :lol: I so wish I could have my own kit! I have been eyeing for this when I went to Manila last year and as a craft lover as I am, I would really love to have all their different kits. I wanted to buy one for Ella and onef or me but my spirit is willing but my pocket is so weak. Now that Ella got one, I will just enjoy giving her a hand on this. We still have not painted the plaster moulds and I think I will just let her do it alone so she would really appreciate it then I will post some photos on here.
