I am back to my “ukay-ukay” shopping mode again after having a long leave due to the lack of funds. Money was very tight the past weeks. Just enough for food and bills, so now that I got my earnings from blogging, I rewarded myself to pick a few. I had three maternity tops and one that I could use after the baby decides to make an appearance. I wasn’t able to take some pics because I was too excited to wear them. They’re still drying outside so I will just show you my other loots.

This caterpillar that I got for $0.52 makes a rattling sound when shaken.

This colorful soft block that I got for $0.62 has handles and a rattle too. 

An itsy-bitsy rattle bear for a whooping $0.20.

These are all for our little guy (assuming that’s it’s a boy) and his big sister was so thrilled to see we are buying some toys for the baby. She actually not asked something for herself but I got a Russ bear for her named Chloe for only $0.52. She’s now Teddy’s daughter.

 Oh I also got a boppy pillow but I was too lazy to get a picture since taking a photo of it means I’ll be slipping back the cover that I have already removed for washing and to a pregnant like me, that’s a LOT of work. I was really really thrilled to have found it but the lady was firm of her price of $3. 125 so I left and let Donald haggle. He got it for $2.5 which is almost  a steal.

This morning, Donald and Ella are still sleeping when I left for the market. I was so eager to get there on time for the bales to be opened but I waited for my two companions to wake up. It’s already 9am when I decided to leave and an hour after, they followed me in the market and spent another hour and a half roaming around the stalls, having a merienda then Donald had her hair cut at the saloon. Ella asked me if she could also cut her hair (again?) and so I let the hairdresser straighten my piece of work. I really hate that pair of shears! It won’t cut straight, that’s why. or Ella’s hair won’t just cooperate. When it’s wet, it’s straight but when it dries up, it isn’t that straight at all. Just some little rough edges….not as bad as you think.

Glad that it’s sunny today! most of the laundry are dry and we are really going to the city on Monday! Yay!!!
