Great Holiday Sale: Buy 1 take 5 on all blocks.

I do believe in miracles and this morning, I witnessed one. Baby Taz was pretty behaved in our Sunday School class and it was indeed a miracle.
Unlike the past Sundays when all she does is getting so physical with her cousin, lie down on the floor as if she’s in their house, getting her hands into all the stuffs at Ella’s study table and walking back and forth disturbing not just me but the entire class…..today she stayed there at her chair, eyes pinned on me and repeats every word I utter (that I asked her to stop)while I tell them another story about Jesus. She and her cousin hasn’t exchanged kicks and pinches and it was such a miracle.
I now see her as a doll or an angel, not a Baby Taz.
An update on Ella. She had an inventory sale on her business and it was the biggest sale I have ever seen. Perhaps the biggest in history. Bigger than SM or even Walmart! She gave free 15 blocks to one of her customers who just bought 5 blocks. It was buy 1, take 5.
What made her sell blocks again? She wanted to surprise her Daddy and me too. Here’s their conversation that almost made me pee on my pants.
Ella: Daddy, ano ang gusto mong regalo ko sa iyo sa New Year? (Daddy, what do you want from me this New Year?)
Donald: Wala…. (None….)
Ella: Ay, hindi pwedeng wala. Dapat meron. (It couldn’t be none. There should be.)
Donald: ‘Wag mo na isipin ‘yan, kasi bata ka pa…wala ka pang pera. (Do not think about that because you are still small and you don’t have money yet.)
Ella: Nakalimutan mo na? Marami akong pera…..(Have you already forgotten that I have plenty of money?)
She has earned money from selling blocks and Donald doesn’t want to break her heart, so he answered:
Donald: Laptop. Gusto ko ng laptop ha. (Laptop. I want a laptop.)
Ella: Laptop????? Ang mahal mahal niyan!!! Celphone na lang, okay lang? (Laptop??? That is so expensive!!! Would a celphone be okay?)
Note: She has $1.08 in her name.
A toy celphone would be it.
Our 5 year-old Princess who’s turning 18 in June just amuses us each day. I wish she would stay 5 forever…..
I’d better get going now. Hafta pack everything that we needed so we could leave early tomorrow. Davao and Kabacan, here we come!!!!!!

Isn’t it sweet that she wants to buy gifts? … Kids are so precious!
