We’re back! Actually we arrived yesterday afternoon but I was too tired to blog. Although I really did miss it, I have yet to straigten the house after being gone for ten days. Ella was teary eyed while we were in the taxi yesterday on our way to the bus terminal. She said she will miss being with her tita’s. She got that from Mamang Eling who cries each time she bids goodbye during her visit in Davao before. She sure do enjoy her vacation. She stays at the house almost every day not minding if Donald and I are gone for so long for my doctor’s appointment. I have yet to write another post for the entire 10 days vacation and that would be a very long one so eat your dinner first.
From my third ultrasound, trip to my hometown, Ella’s moments with her tita’s and her visit to her Lolo and Lola and other tita’s. She really had so much fun.
When we get in the bust terminal, Donald was very thrilled and so was Ella that we caught the King Long Bus. It was a new bus of Bachelor Express and Donald was dreaming of boarding it for a long time.
They say it was like an airplane and when we got in, Ella was like “Mommy, pwedeng magpaa-paa oh!” (Mommy, I could go barefoot!)
Oh well, because it was cleaner than the old buses and it has this carpet-like thing. The AC is working on top condition that made Donald shiver to the bones. Ella and I are lucky that we have our sweaters on. Aside from it, we enjoyed three comedy movies from their two monitors, one infront and one in the middle. The fare is more expensive but it’s all worth.
After cleaning the fridge and putting our bags away, we went to the market to do our weekly food and grocery shopping. As usual, we could not let Saturday pass without going to the market since it is the only day we could get fresh and cheap veggies and fish. I also bought “bulad” (dried fish) which we had for dinner. It was a real satisfying dinner. Who would not enjoy dried fish with durian as dessert?
Donald has brought native variety and although I love arancillo more, I joined and licked my finger afterwards too.
Today I wore a real maternity dress to church and when I looked in the mirror, I am so pregnant!
Last month, I could still wear my old Sunday dresses and I still don’t looked horrible. Now at almost 19 months bump, I do really looked pregnant….really pregnant. I have bigger tummy now that my pregnancy with Ella. We had a story about the Lost Sheep in Sunday school and as usual, I have to tell it in two dialects (Cebuano and Tagalog) since there are little kids who can’t understand Tagalog well. After worship, Donald and Kuya Roger (the congregation’s treasurer) had a talk while Ella watched Barney. When I already set the table and call them to get inside the house for lunch, Donald came in and told me Kuya Roger already left. He works in Luzon area and was only here for a few days (his wife takes care of the records while he’s gone) and I was feeling a bit sad that we have not had him for lunch. So after having a quick meal, we all get dressed to see him one last time before he leaves tonight. I know Donald loves talking to him so I said maybe we could spend an hour or two there so they could talk some more. While we were there, Ella borrowed a cup and a spoon so she could eat her Milo, one of her loots when she went to visit her Lolo and Lola in Davao. We brought two sachets since I knew she would really ask for it when we get there.
Perhaps Ella was too tired that she slept very early. I was doing some blogging when she asked me turn on the fan and viola, when I turned around she was deep in sleep. The house is so emtpy each time she sleeps very early. Donald watched TV after dinner while I do my thing here in the pc. Now while finishing this, she was up again doing some rough-housing with her Daddy. Let’s see who will cry first.
Have to end it now to check on mortgage life insurance.
