my life, my family, my dreams, my hopes and fantasies

Teaser

I am very happy that the Korean TeleSerye Three Dads and One Mom will end soon. Not that I don’t like it but because it is aired at 10:30pm and my five-year-old is looking forward to it each night. I could not debate her about going to bed early and skipping the show because Donald is so addicted to it too. So each night, they snuggle together infront of the tube while I try to be productive infront of the pc. Lately I’ve been too engrossed uploading photos in my friendster account. I was meaning to do it long before but I was too lazy to resize each one and wait like forever for it to be up in my account. When we went to our hometown the last time, we had so much fun and so many photos that they were bugging me and my sister Crislyn about uploading it all so they could grab it. So there I go, spending almost entire day and night uploading photos for the benefit of everyone. ;-) I have cousins in Manila that misses Mindanao so much and it could be a great way to at least let them feel at home, my other cousins in Kabacan as well as my sisters and Donald’s family in Davao who seldom sees Ella.

As usual, today went quite and eventful but Ella never fails to amuse us. When Donald came to fetch her at school, he noticed some kids are practicing Christmas songs. They are the Kiddie 1 class and Ella is Kiddie 2 but he just wanted to tease Ella so he asked why she didn’t join the practice in his most concern and serious way so as to make Ella nervous. The little girl’s answer was: “Kasi hindi pa nila alam ‘yung kanta kaya kelangan nila mag-practice. Ako alam na alam ko na.” (Because they don’t know the song yet that’s why they need to practice. And I know the song very well.) Daddy teases. Daddy lost.

Then while I am writing this post just before dinner, Donald was shooting questions on her about their lesson. She has answered the different professions and the name of family members (that is father, mother etc.) correctly but when it came to the question, “What do we do in the bathroom” she answered “Naglalaro!” (Playing) and Donald almost turned red because he knew Ella knew the answer and she is just teasing him. I reminded him that she could have said that because the neighbor’s kids plays with the water and the showers inside the bathroom of the chapel. (But that was before we decided to lock the gates) So there goes our silly girl! She won the battle of teasing today. :-)
